At Revoke, we want to help you get to a stage in your recovery where drinking isn’t even a part of your day.

You won’t need to be scared about what you did the night before. You won’t need to worry your loved ones, or push through the hangover to get to work.

It’s possible to start building a new life - you just have to want change.

If you’re worried about your drinking, Revoke is here to help.

Most people get nervous at the thought of baring their soul in the presence of complete strangers - it’s a scary prospect - so the thought of group therapy can seem daunting!

Thankfully though, it’s a much more forgiving process. Group therapy is always supervised by a trained professional, and you’ll move into the group dynamic at your own pace.

Like anything, you get out what you put in, but it’s always your choice how much you want to share.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, or CBT, helps us to deal with overwhelming problems by breaking them down into smaller parts:

👉 Situations

👉 Thoughts

👉 Emotions

👉 Physical feelings

👉 Actions

The above five areas are all interconnected - for example, we are nervous about a certain situation and we feel butterflies in our stomach.

CBT helps us to stop negative thought cycles by breaking down things that make you feel bad, anxious or scared into smaller components.

By making your problems smaller and therefore more manageable, CBT can help you transform your negative thought patterns and improve the way you feel.
