FAQs for Endolift.
▫️ What is it? A minimally invasive laser treatment that tightens and lifts the skin from within. A very fine optical fibre is inserted just beneath the skin’s surface, delivering laser energy directly into the tissue. This stimulates collagen production, melts localised fat deposits, and triggers a tightening effect that continues to develop over the weeks following treatment — with no surgical incisions.
▫️ What areas can it treat? Jowls, jawline, beneath the chin, cheeks, mid-face, neck, décolletage, abdomen and upper arms.
▫️ Am I a good candidate? Endolift works best for patients with mild to moderate skin laxity who want a meaningful improvement without surgery. It is particularly well suited to those in their late thirties to sixties who are beginning to notice jowling, loss of jaw definition, or a softening of the neck.
▫️ Is it painful? Local anaesthetic is used, so discomfort is well controlled. The only notable moment is a brief, mild sting when the anaesthetic is administered — this passes within 15 to 30 seconds. After that, most patients feel nothing more than warmth or mild pressure throughout.
▫️ What’s the downtime? Some swelling, redness, and mild bruising is normal for a few days. Most patients feel comfortable returning to work and normal activities within a week.
▫️ When will I see results? Some improvement is visible immediately, with full results developing gradually over three to six months as collagen remodelling takes place. Results typically last between two and four years.
▫️ Can it be combined with other treatments? Yes — and often the best outcomes come from a combined approach. Fillers, Profhilo, and polynucleotides can all complement Endolift where volume loss or skin quality are also a concern.
▫️ How does it compare to a facelift? Endolift is not a replacement for surgery in patients who genuinely need it. But for the right candidate, it delivers a visible, natural-looking improvement with considerably less downtime, no general anaesthesia, and no scarring.
