🌱 We’re back in the gardens after a winter break. Join us for a relaxed morning at the Towpath Orchard. We’ll be tidying the garden, caring for the soil and preparing the space for the growing season ahead.

It’s not just for Christmas…

Food poverty and insecurity affects our neighbours all year round.

🥄WINTER APPEAL ❄️

If you live close by you might have had one of these already through your door. If you’re you’re just passing through, they’re up in the building. But in case you missed it - the food bank has launched our annual winter appeal.

This is simply to raise the immediate funds we need to keep feeding our vulnerable neighbours fresh essentials for 2026.

We are asking you to consider a monthly commitment of £10 to support a household for a year or, a one off give of £120.

Anything you can spare will help provide security to those who are entering the winter without it.

We’re calling all green thumbs and budding gardeners to help us bring a burst of spring colour to our community garden spaces! 🌱

We’ll be planting a mix of spring bulbs that will not only brighten our surroundings but also provide a vital early food source for pollinating insects 🐝

It’s a perfect way to connect with neighbours and make a lasting impact

We’ll round off the session with hot drinks and mince pies as a thank you for your help 🙏
