🎄Christmas has officially arrived at Lyle House Care Home! 🎄

Our home is beginning to look wonderfully festive after residents helped put our Christmas decorations and Christmas trees up. There was lots of laughter, teamwork, and festive spirit throughout the day!

We were also delighted to have some extra help from our four legged friend Gus, who thoroughly enjoyed being part of the celebrations 🐾🎄

With the decorations up, we’re now looking forward to all of our Christmas events, and making many more special memories together. The countdown to Christmas has truly begun! ✨

💆‍♀️✨ Blow Dry Party at The Lyle House Pub! ✨🍹

What a fabulous afternoon we had here at Lyle House Care Home! Our residents were pampered with a blow dry party right in our very own in house pub complete with refreshing drinks, great conversation, and plenty of laughter. 🍸💬

There’s nothing better than good company and a little bit of glam to brighten the day. Our pub was filled with smiles, fresh styles, and that lovely buzz of community spirit we’re so proud of. ❤️

We are busy planning ahead for Christmas and are reaching out to the community for donations to our Christmas Raffle.
all the profits from your Donations go in the the Lyle house comfort fund that funds all the Activities and resources we need to keep our residents engaged, happy, mobile ,zestful, occupied, energetic and involved.
Good Donations would be;
Alcohol
chocolates
winter woolly's
luxury items
think of the sort of things you would like at Christmas time.

On our recent Minibus Trip out we had the pleasure of going to see the fantastic art and had a wonderful time seeing all the beautiful famous paintings and sculptures up close.

Halloween was Royal at Lyle house with our residents and staff wearing crowns,
we enjoyed party games, bubbles and a delicious buffet.

This week Dr Steve came and told us all about the Fab Four, the residents loved the music and film clips of the Beatles ,and it inspired us to start our Choir Singing Souls with one of there songs Twist and Shout.
the Singing Souls Choir is for residents ,staff ,family and friends of Lyle house and we will be holding regular Practice sessions so if you would like to join in and sing with us please let us know.
