🎉🎂 A Special Birthday Treat for Hazel! 🎂🎉

Our wonderful Wellbeing Coordinator, Billy, had the pleasure of taking Hazel out for a special birthday trip to the local shopping centre, and what a lovely time they had!

Hazel enjoyed browsing the shops and chose a beautiful new blouse to wear for her birthday celebrations. Of course, no birthday outing would be complete without picking up a few treats too! 🛍️✨

It was such a joy to see Hazel smiling and making the most of her special day. At Lyle House, we love creating meaningful moments and helping our residents celebrate in ways that are personal to them.

💖 Valentine’s Afternoon Tea 💖

Love was truly in the air at Lyle House Care Home as we celebrated Valentine’s Day with a delightful afternoon tea! 🌹✨

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful selection of sweet treats, freshly prepared sandwiches, and, of course, plenty of tea, all shared in great company. The room was filled with laughter, smiles, and heartwarming moments as friendships were celebrated and memories were made. 💕

We also took the opportunity to celebrate some very special resident birthdays, making the afternoon even more joyful with cake, candles, and lots of smiles! 🎂🎉

A big thank you to our fantastic team for creating such a beautiful atmosphere, complete with lovely decorations and thoughtful touches that made the day extra special. ❤️

Here’s to celebrating love, friendship, and togetherness, not just on Valentine’s Day, but every day at Lyle House Care Home. 💐

🚍 Out and about learning! 🧠✨

Our amazing team at Lyle House Care Home took part in the Virtual Dementia Tour with Training2Care!

This immersive experience helps our staff gain a deeper understanding of what it can be like to live with dementia, building greater empathy, awareness, and practical skills to support our residents every day. 💙

We’re incredibly proud of our team for their commitment to learning and for always striving to provide the highest standard of care. A big thank you to Training2Care for such a powerful and eye opening experience! 👏

💗 Love & Kindness at Lyle House 💗

Yesterday we held our first coffee morning, and what a lovely morning it was! With Love & Kindness as our theme, the room was filled with smiles, laughter and great company.

Residents, families and professionals joined us to enjoy delicious cakes and pastries, while the tea and coffee flowed throughout ☕️🍰 Everyone also took part in a fun Valentine’s themed quiz, a big well done to Team Monochrome for taking home the win! 🏆

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make our first coffee morning so special. We’re already looking forward to the next one 💕

Our residents at Lyle House Care Home had a wonderful day out visiting Tate Britain 🎨🖼️ from classic masterpieces to inspiring modern works, it was a joy to see everyone sharing memories, sparking conversations, and soaking up the creativity.

Days like these remind us how powerful art can be in bringing people together 💛

🎄✨ Putting Our Christmas Raffle to Great Use at Lyle House! ✨🎄

We’ve loved seeing our residents enjoy some fantastic activities this week using new equipment purchased by our wellbeing team, all thanks to the money raised from our Christmas raffle 💙

From smiles and laughter to meaningful moments of engagement, it’s been wonderful to see how much joy these new resources have brought. A huge thank you to everyone who supported the raffle, your generosity is making a real difference to the daily lives and wellbeing of our residents.

✨ Community Connections That Sparkle ✨

Back in December, our Customer Relations Manager Lauren had the pleasure of visiting Sparkle Group, a wonderful intergenerational community group where grandfriends come together with the local school to share activities, stories and smiles. 💛

A huge thank you to Olivia and her amazing team for being so welcoming and for the inspiring work you do bringing generations together. It was truly lovely to see the connections and joy created through these shared experiences.

We’re very much looking forward to building a future partnership in the New Year and continuing to strengthen these special community links. 🌟🤝

Thank you for everyone that entered the Lyle house Christmas Raffle we managed to raised £309 to go towards the Wellbeing teams comfort fund budget.

🌟🚶‍♀️ A Lovely Day Out at Battersea Power Station 🚶‍♂️🌟

Our residents at Lyle House Care Home had a wonderful outing to the iconic Battersea Power Station! Everyone enjoyed exploring the area, taking in the impressive displays, and soaking up the vibrant atmosphere.

It was a fantastic opportunity to get out and about, share conversations, and create new memories together 😊. Days like these bring so much joy and excitement to our residents.
