📦 In November we won a competition with J C Walwyn & Sons and have received our beautifully branded soil box prize for our families to use.

Soil boxes are a helpful item at burials, where it’s common practice to pinch a handful of earth to sprinkle into a grave as a way for mourners to participate and say a final farewell.

🤔 Burial or cremation: which is right for you or your loved one?

Often, we find that a family's biggest decision is choosing between a burial or a cremation.

Today, more than 80% of people choose cremation. For many, this decision is guided by personal preference; though religious beliefs, family traditions, and cultural values often play an important part too.

Both options hold their own sense of comfort, significance, and tradition:

Burial
• Deeply traditional and symbolic
• Provides a lasting place for remembrance and reflection

Cremation
• Typically more cost-effective
• Offers a range of flexible memorial options
• Ashes can be kept, scattered, transformed into keepsakes or jewellery, or laid to rest in a cemetery or churchyard.

🎩 There’s no single “right” choice, only what feels most meaningful and true to you and your loved one’s wishes.
