Yesterday we had a lovely church service to raise awareness of Christian persecution Wednesday.
The altar was set in red which looked so lovely.
We were joined by Andrew Woodward Russell who is the area support chaplain.
After the service we did the blessing of the Christmas cake mixture.
Andrew and our chef Angela did the prayer which was really lovely.
The residents and staff got up to help mix it.

Lovely to see Roobarb back in Lawnfield today.
The residents loved giving Roobarb plenty of strokes and of course lots of treats.
Roobarb brings so many memories of the pets they had and loved telling all their stories.

Welcome to our newest volunteer Sophia who came today and played the guitar.
The residents joined in with a variety of songs and had a lovely afternoon singing.

Thank you to Jelli Tots nursery for coming today and doing jigsaw puzzles with the residents.
They enjoyed helping each other doing them.

We had a lovely Remembrance Day service at Lawnfield House today.
It was so lovely to see so many residents, staff, families and friends and also past family and friends who joined us for the service and lunch afterwards.

The service was so meaningful and hard not to shed a tear or two.

We had lovely poppy wreaths which were made by the residents and a new memory tree with lights where we put our personal prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Even at a 100 years old Betty tried something that she had never done before.

A big thank you to our flower friends for the beautiful flowers that they gave Lawnfield yesterday.
A beautiful bouquet of flowers for Betty who was a 100 last week and flowers for all the dining room tables so everyone can enjoy.

Lovely to see so many people celebrating Diwali and giving us some gift bags for our residents at Lawnfield House.
