Last week, the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN) was proud to host our annual Christmas Show, bringing patients and staff together to celebrate the festive season. Christmas at the RHN has always been something special, and this year was no exception. The show was filled with a wonderful atmosphere as staff and patients came together to enjoy performances from our incredibly talented choir, alongside a special appearance from the Putney Chiefs. It was fantastic to see so many colleagues taking part, alongside some of our patients, making the event truly memorable and a reflection of the strong sense of community that defines RHN.

Thank you to everyone that was involved in helping to organise such a memorable event.

We had so much fun during our final From Fragment to Whole session! 🎨✨

Over the past eight weeks, patients, staff, and visitors have been invited to explore colour, texture, and pattern, and to fold, arrange, and shape paper fragments into shared artworks.

A massive thank you to artist Rebecca Olajide for leading these sessions! Our patients thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with different colours and textures while creating their own pieces to contribute to a collaborative artwork.

This Christmas, can you help us give the most essential gift? 🎄
For patients like Ruth, including those with acquired brain injury or Motor Neurone Disease, a safe, specialised bed is the foundation of their comfort and dignity—especially when they rely on ventilators.

Every year we receive a certain amount of funds from the NHS to maintain our beds, but with the needs of our patients we have to buy more bed equipment than we can afford. As a result we need to raise £70,000 for our Patient Bed Fund. Every donation helps us secure this vital equipment, giving our patients the restorative sleep they deserve this festive season.

Your Gift Makes a Difference:
✨ £60 buys a pair of foam bed bumper rails for safety.
✨ £200 funds a specialised foam mattress.
✨ £1,500 helps purchase an entire bed frame.

Help us reach our goal and ensure a comfortable Christmas for all our patients.

✨ Thank You for a Truly Magical Evening ✨

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Sound Healing Meditation last Thursday. Special mention to lovely Ingrid Wiltshire for giving her time and wisdom leading this session! It was a heartwarming and deeply magical evening, filled with soothing vibrations, peaceful moments and a beautiful sense of connection.

Through sound relaxation, we witnessed people gently let go of the stresses of the day, reconnecting with themselves and with each other in a calm, nurturing space. 💛

Not only did you benefit from this transformative experience, but you also helped raise valuable funds for RHN, making the evening even more meaningful. Your presence, energy and support made it truly special.

We are so grateful to have shared this beautiful journey with you all. Until the next session… ✨🌙
