Practitioner supervision is the foundation of clinical excellence.

It ensures therapists remain sharp, ethical, and compassionate in their practice.

Regular supervision allows practitioners to reflect on challenges, receive guidance, and improve their skills—benefiting every client they support.

At Revive Psychology, our supervision services maintain the highest standards, helping clinicians provide care you can truly trust.

Leadership isn't just about directing others—it's about growing your own confidence and resilience every day.

At Revive Psychology, we use coaching techniques that help leaders face challenges calmly and build strength from within.

Key strategies include:
• Learning from setbacks
• Practising self-compassion when things get tough
• Setting clear, achievable goals that boost confidence
• Building support networks that strengthen resilience

Online therapy is no longer a luxury — it's an essential lifeline expanding access to quality mental health support.

At Revive Psychology, we've seen how online sessions break down barriers: no travel, flexible scheduling, and comfort in your own space.

For individuals managing anxiety or depression, this means prompt help without waiting weeks for appointments. Couples find a safe, private space to explore relationship challenges from home. Organisations benefit by providing wellbeing support that fits diverse schedules and locations.

Our expert clinicians ensure that online therapy is as effective and compassionate as face-to-face care, with culturally sensitive approaches tailored to your unique background.

This shift to online isn't just convenient—it's life-changing. It invites more people to take the brave step towards healing and growth.

How has online therapy changed the way you or your organisation approaches wellbeing?

Couple therapy offers more than just solutions—it creates a safe space for honest connection and growth.

In this protected environment, both partners can explore feelings without judgement, build trust, and learn healthier ways to communicate.

When couples feel truly heard and supported, relationship challenges become opportunities for deeper understanding and lasting change.

What does a safe space in your relationship look like to you?

Revealing institutional racism takes tremendous courage. There is great pain, and isolation in calling out deeply interwoven, hidden, denied and heavily protected practices, especially those that are seeped in inflexible traditions.

Time and again we learn that hidden secrets can perpetuate harm, where there is prejudice and abuse.

For this reason, I am grateful to Meghan and Harry, for sharing their experience. I also commend those who, for some time, have been calling out the harm.

I hope this moment provides a necessary catalyst for the conversations we should be having. That we step away from the attack on individuals and instead invest in understanding, reviewing and changing the erroneous, archaic institutions that are no longer fit for purpose. I am talking about the systems that continue to plague our communities with oppressive, hierarchical, unfair processes, that serve NO-ONE, hold us back as a society and harm our minds, bodies, memories.

If you truly want ‘psychologically informed’, ‘trauma informed’, ethical and safe systems than please do the work of system review and change. It will make better days happen.

I know it might feel like a struggle today. The news of greater restrictions certainly took the wind out of my sails.

What can we do?

Validate compassionately all the feels and connect-with what you need and with others.

Talk to people at home if you can, speak to your people on the phone, on FaceTime/virtual venues. Talk, about what was then, what is now, and what could be (goals).

Rest. Watch TV. Take care of you. Listen to the radio/music/podcasts.

Do whatever makes you feel connected in the smallest of ways. And try to keep the energy light where you can. Our bodies NEED the respite.

There are many valid reasons your mind might be stuck on that treadmill of overthinking-trying to find a missing piece of the puzzle, mentally rehearsing the perfect outcome, self doubt, and and and.

When it does not reap a result however, it begins to become a waste of mental energy.

Use distraction (with an activity that’s mentally absorbing), tell yourself “this is not working”, catch your mind out and think of something less emotive. Seek help with this if you need to.

Take care of the basics first, the rest will follow.

Eat the food that makes you feel good (not guilty), balance activity with rest, don’t ignore the signs your body is giving you.

Take the medication you need to take. Get help where you need to. Your body is your home and deserves your attention.

Hope may have been thin on the ground for some of us. In fact, the daily monotony and inability to connect may have left you feeling quite low. This is certainly something I have encountered from time to time and have heard the same story from the people I work with. Let today and the next few weeks have moments of hope and planning for the future. They do not have to be grand plans but some plans for changes can help you get the motivation to make it happen.

Take some time today if you can, to recognise those aspects, factors, people in your life that you value, that bring you joy and comfort. Doing this on a regular basis, can help you to work out what parts of your life really help uplift you, are doing their job and serve you. As you may already know, the parts that need tweaking naturally reveal themselves through this process. So take a break from mental analysis that highlights the deficits and feed your mind with what it is receiving.
