Erectile dysfunction in men is real and must not be stigmatised. Doctors must see men with erectile dysfunction including the ones who are unable to have children (as we see women with subfertility), so that these men do not end up with quacks and have liver and kidney toxic medicines. Treatment is individualised and is successful in many patients. But not all treatment options for erectile dysfunction are available in Pakistan due to perceived risk of increased sexuality and association with r**e culture. I feel that the lack of law implantation to penalise r**e should not be an excuse to refuse treatment for a genuine issue.
