💩 Have you ever pooped yourself while running? Because most people have.

Runner's diarrhoea is a real and very common phenomenon — with gut symptoms affecting up to 90% of endurance runners. And with the London Marathon coming up, this one's essential viewing.

The science behind it? Blood gets diverted away from your gut during running, your intestines physically shake, and stress hormones like adrenaline and cortisol speed up gut transit. The result? Unfortunate consequences.

Here's what you can do about it:
— Avoid high fibre and high fat foods before your run
— Stick to simple carbohydrates — pasta, bananas, jam sandwiches
— Stay hydrated with water and electrolytes
— Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and artificial sweeteners
— Wear loose, comfortable clothing
— Know where the toilets are along the route

Full tips and a deeper breakdown in my latest YouTube video — link in bio.

🎈 A Chiropractor shoved a BALLOON up her NOSE - and this is meant to fix your breathing?!

Cranial facial release is a procedure where a chiropractor inserts a balloon into your nasal passage and inflates it to shift your facial bones. No camera. No imaging. No peer-reviewed evidence on PubMed to support it.

Meanwhile, if you actually have chronic sinusitis, there's a procedure called balloon sinuplasty - performed by an ENT surgeon, under surgical conditions, with an endoscopy camera. That's what evidence-based medicine looks like. Know the difference.

💚 Cancer care in the UK is not equal - and that needs to change. [ - PR invite / charitable collaboration with ]

I was invited by Macmillan Cancer Support to an exclusive screening of their powerful new TV campaign, part of their Fair Cancer Care programme. And it genuinely moved me.

*Almost 3.5 million people in the UK are living with cancer right now.

But where you live, your background, who you are - none of that should determine the quality of care you receive. Macmillan is fighting to change that.

🦠 What if antibiotics stopped working — and we all died from superbugs?

Featuring: .yaskarsan

This isn't science fiction. Antimicrobial resistance is already happening — and doctors and pharmacists are seeing it in hospitals and pharmacies right now.

I was invited to a showing of and a preview of the upcoming HBO/BBC documentary Superbug, alongside some incredible healthcare creators. Here's what they want you to know.

You don't need antibiotics for the flu. You don't need them for viral infections. But every time they're taken unnecessarily, bacteria get smarter — and the antibiotics we rely on for serious infections become much less effective.

One day it could be you, or someone you love, who needs them to work.

Thanks to for the amazing event, and and for inviting us.

🦠 Antibiotics won't work anymore — and superbugs could kill us all.

Antimicrobial resistance is one of the biggest threats to global health — and most people have never heard of it.

I spoke with my friends to break down why antibiotic resistance should matter to every single one of us. Featuring:

The right antibiotic at the right time saves lives. But every time antibiotics are overused or misused, we inch closer to a world where they stop working entirely. For routine infections. For surgery. For your loved ones.

What can you do? Listen to your doctor or pharmacist when they tell you whether you actually need antibiotics — because one day, someone you love might need them to work.

Thanks to for the amazing event, and and for inviting us.

The BEST catch-up with these legends yesterday 🔥 can you spot your favourite clinical creator?

We were invited by the team to a preview of the HBO/BBC documentary Superbug, all about the dangers of antimicrobial resistance, coming out later this year.

Then we watched - a play about the life of penicillin discoverer Sir Alexander Fleming, and a heart-wrenching story of what can happen if antibiotics aren't used sensibly, resulting in fatal infections.

Big shout-out to the team ( and ) for bringing the community together at this event!

☀️ Sun's out and you're RISKING IT ALL because… you're putting on sunscreen wrong!

It's the hottest day of the year in the UK so far - and most people heading outside today will still miss this one crucial step.

The ear is one of the most common sites for skin cancer to develop. We're talking actinic keratoses, squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma - and yes, malignant melanoma (although this is rarer). And yet it's almost always the last place people think to apply sunscreen.

The back of your neck. The tops of your feet. Your lips. The places we forget are exactly where skin cancer tends to show up.

I wear SPF 50 every single day - rain, shine, indoors, outdoors. This is why you should too.

A "heavily mutated" offshoot of Omicron has been nicknamed the 'Cicada' variant (BA.3.2) — because just like the insect, it disappeared underground for years before resurfacing. It's now been spotted in 23 countries.

Early data suggests children aged 3–15 may be around five times more likely to be infected than adults. Scientists aren't sure why yet — but the WHO confirms it's not causing more severe disease, and current vaccines still offer protection.
