Starting the day with a quick nourishing breakfast before heading to an energising Sunday yoga session with my Sunday yoga group.

Espresso in hand β˜•, liver pΓ’tΓ© with fresh basil & cucumber for natural muscle strength, and a sweet strawberry πŸ“ to refresh the palate and help balance blood sugar - my kind of pre-workout ritual!

I've never been one to reach for synthetic protein shakes. My body thrives on real, whole, active foods that support holistic wellness from the inside out.

πŸŒ… When the birds start chirping before the sun decides to wake up 🐦, I'm sipping on an espresso, with my dehumidifier on - to bring in fresh and fragrant air into my space, and of course some soothing fairy lights to add to the atmosphere of just to sit still and chill.

Being a +40 year old mama, I enjoy and thrive off routine, to help get the best start for my mornings - the peace and quiet of only me being awake in the household 🏑 and allowing me to sit in the tranquility of my thoughts for the day πŸ’¬

Crispy meets fresh! πŸ₯“πŸŒ± Our bacon-wrapped asparagus is the perfect spring plate - simple, stylish, and packed with flavour. Finished with garden-fresh parsley and a zesty twist πŸ‹. See recipe below πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

🌿 Asparagus Wrapped in Crispy Bacon & Topped with Fresh Parsley (yummy!!)

Ingredients (Makes approx. 10 bundles):
πŸ₯“ 20 spears fresh asparagus, trimmed
πŸ₯“ 10 slices streaky bacon
πŸ₯“ 1 tbsp olive oil
πŸ₯“ 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
πŸ₯“ Cracked black pepper, to taste
πŸ₯“ Optional to add Lemon zest for brightness and zingy taste!

Cooking Method:
🍽 Prepare the Asparagus
🍽 Wash and trim the woody ends off the asparagus spears.
🍽 Drizzle with a little olive oil and season with black pepper.
🍽 Wrap with Bacon
🍽 Take 2 spears of asparagus and wrap tightly with one slice of bacon.
🍽 Repeat for all bundles.
🍽 Pan-Fry or Air-Fry Bake

🍳 Pan-fry method: Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
Place the bundles seam-side down and fry for 2-3 mins per side until bacon is golden and crispy.

🍳 Oven method: Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan).
Place bundles on a lined tray and bake for 15-20 mins, turning once.

🌿 Garnish & Serve
🌿 Transfer to a platter, sprinkle with chopped parsley and lemon zest (optional).
🌿 Serve immediately while hot and crisp.

Spring is here! 🌱🌼😁🌷 And it's time to start replanting this poor orchard today...it was a two orchid plant, on one stem, but the main orchard faded away and I am just left with this one orchard which has been growing on the stem which has now turned brown, so it's not getting the soil nutrients it needs and is also starting to bud it's first bloom for the season! πŸ˜πŸŒ·πŸ˜πŸ‘
