Dear relatives,

As we come to the close of our activities for the year 2025, we warmly invite you to join us for our final special event of the year — a collaboration with medicine music artists Julia Diniz and Rafasemilla. Both will be sharing and honoring the sacred traditions of the South Amazonian regions of their home countries.

This will be a two-night retreat dedicated to learning about these ancestral traditions and deepening our connection with the Great Mystery, as we move into a new time of introspection and preparation for the next cycle in 2026.

It is an opportunity for spiritual and emotional cleansing, for reconnecting with nature and its forces, and for strengthening our connection with ourselves — through music, meditation, and vision.

Dear family,vI hope these words find you well. As the year comes to a close, I would like to open our next Sweat Lodge as an offering of gratitude — for all the work done, the prayers shared, the flowers offered, and the sweat and challenges of this cycle.

( This means you pay what you can afford)

We give thanks for all the new souls who have joined our land, and for our dear friends who continue to support and share their journeys with us. To each and every one of you, I offer my heartfelt gratitude.

As I prepare to travel to Colombia at the end of November, Inti and Waira House will pause activities for the remainder of 2025.

The ceremony will be led by Rafasemilla, a medicine man and devoted student of the Mexica and Olmec traditions, who brings deep ancestral wisdom from Colombia and Mexico. Julia Diniz, a medicine music singer, percussionist, and DJ, will guide us with her soulful sound healing and play a captivating DJ set to carry participants fully into the ecstatic dance experience.

We are also honored to welcome special guest Yamir from Colombia, a traditional indigenous flute player, whose music will beautifully weave through the ceremony.

Through prayers and shared remembrance, we open our hearts to connect deeply with those who came before us. The cacao ceremony will guide us in opening our hearts and inviting healing, while the ecstatic dance frees our spirits to celebrate life, movement, and connection.

Come dressed for the occasion—fancy dress and creative expression are joyfully encouraged, as we believe having fun is serious business! Fancy dress is not mandatory, but it adds to the magic of the night.

Online tickets are available at a lower price than at the door, so be sure to secure yours early.

We can’t wait to share heart‑opening cacao, music, and dance with you as we honor the lineage that sustains us through celebration, prayer, and remembrance.

As the veil between the spiritual and physical worlds dissolves, the communion between both realms grows stronger and more radiant. Across cultures, Samhain and the Day of the Dead mark this sacred time to honor those who came before us — the ones to whom we owe our lives, the ones who now dwell among the stars.

For this celebration, we are honored to welcome a special ancestral guest: an instrument born in the mountains of Colombia, in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, known as the heart chakra of the world.

A gift from destiny, Colombia’s gaitas — traditionally called Kusis Sigi and Kusis Bunci by their original guardians — have begun to share their magical sound across the globe. The voice of the Sierra Nevada and the people of Teyuna will grace and enliven our gathering on October 31st.
