Providing support and care for women and families during pregnancy and childbirth isn't a job for me, its very much a part of who I am. I had a previous lengthy career working in a bank in Sheffield but gave it up to move to London to pursue my dreams of becoming a midwife. I have never felt such a sense of pride or motivation for what I do until I found my calling and strive to ensure a woman always feels empowered, informed and in control of her birth. This is what led me to my interest in antenatal education and in particular, KG Hypnobirthing. I believe there is no right or wrong way to give birth, its not something that is possible to fail at. What is important to remember is that however you birth, it is what was right for you and your baby.
