Cher's long standing client - local legend, Reggie completed his 10th Ironman in Barcelona last weekend 😱.

After taking a terrible fall off his bike in training for this Ironman, it was looking very unlikely he would be able to continue to train, let alone even compete in this enormous event.

He started doing two sessions of Focused Shockwave Therapy a week for his shoulder and knee, alongside full body sports massages to really speed up his recovery due to a lack of time he had to get to the start line. We were up against it.

Unfortunately as expected, it wasn't a pain free PB for Reggie but with the clever technology of Shockwave Therapy and his sheer determination to finish, this saw him through against all the odds.

We are in awe of the distance and the mental determination Reggie has to endure such an incredible feat and can now start to rebuild him again like Humpty Dumpty for his next crazy event in the future!

We have had a patient testimonial from Steve the tailor after he had only his second session of Shockwave therapy for his lower back.

He said he felt an 80% improvement from his first session and after the second session he is already pain free and his mobility is great.

2 sessions is not generally enough for most people, maybe 3-5 is more the average amount, so we are very happy with the outcome.

We had Steve the tailor again in clinic for his second session of Shockwave therapy for his lower back.

He said he felt an 80% improvement from his first session! That is a very good outcome, especially for someone who suffers regularly with back pain.

Steve has a history of chronic lower back pain due to his job as a tailor and this really affects him working.

We had Steve in this week for his first session of Shockwave therapy for his lower back.

Steve is a bespoke tailor. He owns and runs his own shop in blue water - 'Bespoke and Tailoring', where he helps all sorts of people for functions like weddings and parties. He also custom tailors clothes to be perfectly fitting specifically for individuals.

Steve has a history of a bad lower back, which causes him a fair amount of pain and discomfort.

This is due to the job he does, which involves a lot of sitting and bending to measure up clothes for an exact fit.

Steve has had all sorts of different treatment therapies over the years including massage acupuncture and cupping.

But after talking with Steve on the phone he decided it was time to try shockwave therapy to see if we could get a more in-depth effective treatment to ease his pain up much quicker.

We are seeing an increased number of people coming into clinic now on a daily basis with Plantar Fasciitis.

In the summer months, PF is hugely increased mainly due to the hot weather as people wear different footwear and being more active physically.

Plantar Fasciitis can be extremely painful but is really effective to speed up the recovery from PF and eliminate the pain.
