Our Latest Social Impact Report Is Here!

We’re delighted to introduce our latest Social Impact Report, a showcase of how our charitable mission continues to transform lives across our homes, our teams, and our communities.

As a not-for-profit care organisation, every achievement we make directly benefits residents, colleagues, and the wider community. Our latest report, for 2024-25, showcases the difference that we made to our residents, relatives, communities, and the environment:
✨ We achieved a Gold Accreditation with Investors in People (IiP)
πŸ‘ 99% of residents are satisfied with their support
♻️ Recycling rates increased to 80.5%

Our Social Impact Report reflects everything that drives us, care that feels good, does good, and gives back.

What better way to enjoy the autumnal weather than a nice cup of tea and cake at the local cafe. Several of the residents did just that last week. Some of the residents even made new friends, and the cafe reminded us of an event that is happening at the end of the month!πŸŽƒπŸ‘»

What better way to enjoy this fabulous weather than having a relax in the garden and talking about holidays.
We did just that for our reminiscence session.
With the use of photos and props to stimulate conversation , it was a great way for the residents to share similar experiences, such as nearly breaking your teeth on sticks of rock. knotted hankies, deckchairs that you cant get out of and melting ice cream running down your arm. Everyone shared their own funny experiences which had each other in stitches.
We also chatted about our favourite type of holiday, favourite place to visit and most overrated place we have visited.

Where is your favourite holiday destination?πŸ©±πŸ•ΆπŸ§³β˜€οΈπŸŠβ€β™€οΈ

We were delighted to be able to offer our residents some very special 1-1 sessions with Mac, our choir facilitator from Lost Chord. These session will provide vital access to music for those that are less mobile around the home.
There were very positive reactions including residents whom sang along, danced or clapped along, The truly heartwarming moment of the afternoon, was one resident, who reached out to touch the guitar who wouldn't normally react or reach out.
