Can you believe we are half way through January already?
We started the month off with visits from The Rah Rah Theatre company and the King of rock and roll, Elvis.

We started this week off by keeping up our New Years resolution of keeping fit and promptly ruined it by sampling our home made ice cream! this was made with out the use of a machine or freezer.πŸ¨πŸ˜‹
The Meadowcroft then welcomed St Mary Magdalene Church Wandsworth common for their first communion service of the year.
All are welcome to join these service which are held once a month, please speak to the activity Team for more details.

Cold weather can bring extra challenges for older people – but a few simple, practical steps can make a real difference to comfort, confidence, and wellbeing.

Some of our key winter tips include:

β€’ Eating regular, nourishing meals and drinking plenty of fluids

We had a spooktacular evening with a visit from some local gremlins, ghouls, witches and pumpkins for Halloween. of course they we all on their best behaviour.
Our residents loved welcoming some of the Children and families from to The Meadowcroft. There was definitely more treats than tricks and a howling good time was had by all.
