Parental burnout… it’s a thing.

And it doesn’t mean you’re failing — it means you’ve been carrying too much, for too long, without enough support or space to breathe.

If you’re exhausted, irritable, or running on fumes, you’re not alone. Your feelings are valid. Your needs matter. 💛

Follow me for tips & check out when our workshops are. Online coming soon.

I adore this picture!

It captures what I want more of in our home: laughter and connection.

As a solo parent, those moments can take real intention… but they’re worth every second.

Can’t wait to hang this on the wall in our new home and create more happy memories.

What are your core values?

What values are you installing in your kids?

Let me know in the comments.

If you are unsure - thats ok! On Monday you can join our workshop at The Mindful parent Hub in Chingford where we work them out together. Making space and time for you.

Every day I’m getting closer to what I want.

If I look back 5 years ago, my wants and needs weren’t just unmet—I didn’t even know what they were.
I was moving through each day on autopilot, everything feeling like groundhog day.

But looking at how far I’ve come… I’m proud.
It hasn’t been easy, not by a long shot.
Yet here I am, with 3 happy children and a happy mum.
That alone feels huge.

The dream is still unfolding, and there’s so much more I want to achieve.
But today, I’m pausing to say well done to myself.
For growing, for trying, for not giving up.

If you needed a sign to celebrate yourself too—this is it.

Ever feel like the scales are completely off-balance?

On one side:

🍽 Not eating a meal in peace

👩‍🍳 Cooking kid-approved dinners

🎉 Planning fun and making memories

📚 School homework and never-ending forms

🏡 Trying to keep a tidy home

💼 Running a business / juggling work

🧭 Being the default organiser of everything

And on the other side…

Your needs.

Barely even registering on the scale.

The truth is, motherhood can quietly ask us to give up so much that we stop noticing what we’ve lost—our rest, our space, our hobbies, our identity, our calm.

But your needs matter.

They’re not an afterthought.

They’re the foundation that keeps everything else standing.

If the scales feel heavy right now, you’re not failing.

You’re carrying too much on your own.

What’s one need of yours that hasn’t been met in a long time?

Share it below or just name it silently for yourself today.

Awareness is the first step to reclaiming balance.

Have these thoughts run through your mind… honestly?
Because there’s no judgement here.

This was me five years ago.
Trying to hold it all together on the outside while quietly falling apart on the inside.

It wasn’t until I hit rock bottom that I finally reached out, got support, and allowed myself to be honest about how hard motherhood can feel.

If any of these slides feel familiar, please know this:
You’re not broken. You’re not failing. You’re not alone.

It’s okay to have these thoughts.
It’s okay to struggle.
And it’s more than okay to ask for help.

Let’s work together on making a change — finding support, finding space, and finding you again. DM me, we can work 1:1 or come to a workshop.

You deserve to feel grounded, connected, and cared for too.

Friendship is one of my deepest core values. 💛

It’s the thread that’s held me together through some of life’s hardest moments — the late-night phone calls, the honest chats when I didn’t want to hear the truth but needed to, the shared tears and belly laughs that remind me I’m not alone.

My friends have seen all of me — the messy, tired, joyful, hopeful, human me — and loved me anyway.

Friendship reminds me what connection really means. It’s not about perfection or constant contact. It’s about being known, understood, and accepted.

As a parent, this value shows up in how I model relationships for my children — showing them what healthy support, laughter, and honesty look like.

Because when we value friendship, we teach our kids that they, too, are worthy of love and belonging. 💫

What core value has carried you through the toughest times?

When we focus on rules, we often end up in power struggles.
When we focus on values, we invite understanding, connection, and cooperation. 💛

Instead of “You must tidy your room,” try “In our family, we value taking care of our things.”
It shifts the tone from control ➡️ to shared purpose.

This mindset doesn’t just reduce arguments — it teaches our children why something matters, helps them internalize those values, and lets us parent with less guilt and more calm. 🌿

What’s one family value you’d love to nurture more of this week?
