LISA’S COLLAGEN HOT CHOCOLATE RECIPE
INGREDIENTS

Milk of your choice (dairy, plant-based or goat’s milk)
2 tablespoons Correxiko Marine Collagen (this collagen is unflavoured and mixes perfectly with the cocoa to make a creamy drink)
2 heaped teaspoons raw cacao
Optional: honey or agave

METHOD

☕️ Warm your milk gently on the hob
☕️ Add 2 x tablespoons of Correxiko marine collagen powder and whisk until dissolved
☕️ Stir in 2 x heaped teaspoons of raw cacao.
☕️ Sweeten lightly, if desired.
☕️ Whisk again until creamy and well combined.

Serve warm. It’s rich, chocolatey and takes only a couple of minutes — ideal for mornings, afternoons or anytime you want a nourishing, midlife-friendly treat. I have been making this drink with Correxiko marine collagen for years, and I love it. It's such an enjoyable and super simple way to experience the benefits of collagen, and it tastes so good.

Winter places extra demands on the body. Colder weather, central heating and shorter days can affect immunity, digestion, energy, mood and sleep. To support his family’s well-being during this time, Dr Dinuk, founder of Correxiko, regularly prepares two delicious herbal teas to help his family stay well throughout the winter.

DR DINUK’S WINTER IMMUNITY COLLAGEN INFUSION - A SIMPLE WINTER RITUAL FOR WHOLE-BODY WELLNESS
INGREDIENTS

3–4 slices of fresh unwaxed lemon (with p*el)
3–4 slices fresh ginger
A pinch of turmeric
A pinch of black pepper
1 tsp raw honey
Boiling water
1 scoop Correxiko Marine Collagen Powder

HOW TO MAKE IT

Add lemon, ginger, turmeric and black pepper to a mug, cover with boiling water and steep for 10 minutes. Stir in honey and Correxiko Marine Collagen. If you are suffering from a cough or cold, I suggest taking 1 - 2 capsules of Correxiko Raw Vitamin C alongside the drink. Vitamin C helps our skin stay radiant, but also helps us defend against viruses. Take one in the morning and one in the afternoon or evening. A steady supply of vitamin C helps us so much when the seasonal sniffles set in!

DR DINUK’S NIGHT-TIME CALMING COLLAGEN TEA - A SIMPLE RITUAL FOR CALM AND RESTORATION

INGREDIENTS

2 tsp dried peppermint leaves
1 cinnamon stick
1 tbsp dried chamomile flowers (or two organic chamomile tea bags)
1 tsp coriander seeds (lightly cracked)
3–4 fenugreek seeds
Boiling water
1 scoop (10 g) Correxiko Marine Collagen Powder
½ tsp raw honey (optional)

HOW TO MAKE IT

Add all herbs and spices to a mug or teapot, pour over boiling water and steep for around 10-15 minutes. Stir in 1 scoop of Correxiko Marine Collagen and honey if desired.

The Correxiko team want to help you feel less stressed during the festive season, so have compiled some helpful recipes, recommended supplements and some tips for great sleep. 'Stress Less' Smoothie by Rosie Millen ⁠

You will need:⁠

INGREDIENTS⁠

2 small, cooked beetroots, chopped ⁠
1 mango, chopped⁠
1 cup of almond milk⁠
1 scoop/2 level tbsp of Correxiko collagen powder⁠

Pop all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.⁠

Beets are a good source of potassium, a mineral and electrolyte that helps nerves and muscles function properly. Beetroot contains D Ribose – a sugar molecule which helps cells generate energy and combat fatigue which often go hand in hand at times of stress. The stress hormone cortisol has the ability to degrade collagen, which can result in the formation of wrinkles. So if you are feeling overwhelmed or burnt out this is the smoothie for you.⁠
