Is anyone missing a cat?

Sadly a deceased cat was brought into Two By Two Veterinary Centre, Finchley, this evening. Found in Courthouse Road N12, she is ginger, has no collar and the microchip is not registered so we are not able to trace the owner.

It’s a summer heatwave!

⚠️ Heatstroke can be fatal for pets. If you suspect heatstroke, act quickly to cool them down:
➡️ Move your pet to a cool place
➡️ Pour cold water over them (avoiding their head)
➡️ Give a little cold water to drink
➡️ Call your vet 02038658805
And remember never to leave dogs in cars!

With heat health warnings in place for many parts of the UK this week, the British Veterinary Association (BVA) is urging pet owners to take extra precautions to keep their animals safe and to act quickly if they spot early signs of heatstroke.

- Advice and guidance on travel requirements and timescales
- Rabies vaccination (at least 30 days before travel) £80
- Microchipping
- Tapeworm treatment
- Healthcheck appointment with your pet for an Animal Health Certificate to certify that your pet is healthy to travel £199-£240. Extra animals from £52.
- Collect and sign certificate and you are ready to travel

Unfortunately we do not offer home visits. We do not provide export certificates to China.
