I have decided to remove a bunch of my reels here on Facebook.

It had an option to add music to a reel saying that if you did use the music, it was licensed on Facebook and part of the monetization would go to the music rights owners.

I thought that was fine until suddenly all of my reels were hit with multiple owners.  the post from Facebook says it’s would take all of my monetization for each reel because of the multiple music rights owners claiming rights.

Even though it was just one song on each reel, multiple people were hitting the post and and claiming that it was their music.
Strangely, someone would claim the first 20 seconds was theirs, and then someone else would claim the rest of the music was theirs, even though it was just one song.

To dispute it Facebook didn’t have any way for me to say what was happening.

I could only say that it was my music
if I wanted to dispute claim.

Facebook didn’t have any way to remove the music from the reels either
So I’ve just decided to delete them all because- NOpE!

That’s the last time I put “licensed “music “on any of my reels.

Either Facebook doesn’t care about content, creators,

Or Facebook doesn’t care about content creators.
