Just got sent this … so epic!

VO₂ max is how well your body can take in, deliver and use oxygen at a cellular level.

Most people think it’s purely a fitness indicator and to increase it you need to train more and push harder.

But if you’re burnt out and your nervous system’s fried… more effort just digs the hole deeper.

Look at the graph.. You can see the effect burnout had on Wesley’s VO₂ in November, a massive drop. But then at the end of December he started reading ‘Breathe In, Breathe Out’ and doing simple daily breathwork with us.

Every clan needs a powerful woman and that you are in abundance, Mum! Thank you for the strength you’ve shown through every season of life. For believing in me (and all us Sandeman crew) long before I knew how to believe in myself. I want you to know how deeply appreciated you are, not just today, but everyday.

It’s mad how 10 years ago on this day by chance we went to our first breathwork session together, with no clue what would unfold. Still amazes me and thanks for being with me through it all. Love you so much. Happy Mothers Day! 💐❤️
