Etiges - Norfolk - tickets and full line up go on release tomorrow !!

Fingers at the ready as we release our first little weekender, May 16-17, in one of the most bless-ed corners of the uk.

ENSEMBLE DANS - TANK + come together in a spell of sanctuary to bring you live folk, contemporary, pop, ambience, dance, film, workshops, talks and trout spotting. Amongst the meadows, chalk stream, ruined monastery and barn owl flying lands of Castle Acre, West Norfolk. Based at a historic 16th century coaching inn, The Ostrich, in this tiny peaceful village.

Come join us ☀️🦅 as the founding artists of these fugitive dancing, music making, visuals flying worlds come together in a retreat from the chaos. Rest, land, make merry, flow, be, retreat, find, be held, let go. Adults, families, kids, lovers, elders, friends and pets, all welcome.

I’ve been reading some interesting research about our ‘dyslexic mind’ as humans (maybe animals too?), being just the same parts and qualities of ‘pro dancing mind’ - in both - we do without thinking - follow flow without reasoning - find impeccability and precision from spine - multifidi (the tiny muscles close to the spine ), breath, confusion even.

Thinking and rationality only gets in the way.

Isn’t that cool? Dyslexic and dancer mind - one an the same. Nothing ‘wrong’ with either. Channeled right it becomes exquisite, a career even 😊.

Here I am prepping for Friday morning class.
