Healthwatch Hammersmith and Fulham wants to hear about your experiences with local health and social care services. Your input is important as it helps us understand what is working well and what needs improvement.

Black women in the UK are significantly more likely to experience complications during pregnancy and childbirth, as well as suffer from perinatal mental illnesses like depression and anxiety. Despite this, they are the least likely to receive follow-up care. Therefore, understanding their experiences is vital.

This survey focuses on the experiences of Black African and Black Caribbean mothers seeking help for their mental health during pregnancy or after giving birth. It aims to shed light on the challenges they face when accessing mental health care.

Please provide as much detail as possible in your responses. Your answers will help us understand peopleโ€™s real experiences and how services can be improved.
