Last call! We have a few places left for this unique opportunity to meet with and hear from Dr Rory Hiltbrand in the UK.

Rory received his doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts, and spent a semester treating stroke patients at Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Teaching Hospital.

Rory also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Economics from the University of Richmond, where he also conducted Chaos Theory Research for the NSF.

Rory has a profound passion for understanding the nature of reality and humanity’s place within it. He actively trains in Brazilian Ju Jitsu and finds grounding and peace of mind through martial arts.

Our teachers are all in. They invest so much of their time in their training and practice. They care deeply about their work and yours.

Many studios claim that they have the best teachers, but how do they show that gratitude?

We show our value to our teachers by: paying well, offering CPD worth hundreds (but asking for charitable donations to our cancer clinic instead), treating them with Acupuncture when needed, being flexible with covers, being to organised so that classes aren’t cancelled last minute, paying on time

What we get in return: teachers who are passionate, happy, less injured, calm, encouraged. Teachers offering to help us market, do admin & clean! Teachers who dedicate their time to their practice

What are you studios and gyms doing to ensure that they have what they claim : “the best instructors”.

• We hire people who have a minimum of 5 years of demonstrable teaching experience (most of our teachers have 10-20 years teaching)

• We host workshops on anatomy based on critical thinking, not box ticking to help our teachers deepen their own practice & teaching

• We hire kind & considerate people who can listen well and empathise with students

• We treat our teachers if they’re in pain, so that they can continue teaching

• We’ve built a system of trust so that they feel comfortable to take time off if they’re need it

So many people come to us for pain relief and so lame don’t ever need to return, one session is enough, others use us for chronic pain management to help them make their daily life more comfortable.

What’s in a class… will lead you into deeper self-awareness of your body and mind. You will be encouraged to notice what’s coming up, what physically makes you pause and what mentally bubbles to the surface. What’s the class will be relaxing to many, it could also be an opportunity for you to seek within yourself for the answers that you need.

We are working to bring back our weekly movement class for older adults at Miller’s Way, following a successful run last year.

Before we can relaunch, we are seeking council funding to ensure the class remains free for those who need it most. While we await the funding decision, we’re gathering a list of people who would like to attend if it goes ahead.

The class will be taught by Ben Medder, a highly experienced movement coach who specialises in supporting older adults to:
• Build functional strength
• Improve balance and mobility
• Reduce stiffness and pain
• Increase confidence around falling
• Develop the skills to fall safely, should it happen

This gentle, practical class is designed to help older adults move more comfortably in everyday life and feel more confident in their bodies.

This class is intended for older adults who would not ordinarily be able to afford our sessions.
Spaces will be limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis once funding is confirmed.
