Over thirty years ago Jonathan sat his medical exam finals in this very same hall…

He recalls that event as somewhat traumatic!

Having managed to fool the examiners, he began his life as a junior doctor in the East End of London, and that path took him in pursuit of excellence in training, to a couple of years in clinical training in Harvard University, Boston USA, a fabulous year in Toronto, Canada, a further year in Paris, France and … a truly formative year as a young plastic surgeon in Wakefield, Yorkshire!

All such trajectories rightly return at some point to give something back and in honour of one’s professional roots. To this end, it was a great pleasure and honoured to be invited back to speak at a combined medical and dental aesthetics meeting at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.

Multi-disciplinary care, meeting old friends and new, and learning from the enthusiasm of the next generation...
