I don’t know your full story, but I do know what it’s like to smile on the outside while struggling on the inside. I know the frustration of losing weight, putting it back on, losing motivation, finding it again – and starting over more times than you can remember.

The "Real Talk" Version
Does the thought of walking into a slimming group make you feel a little... well, terrified? 🫣

Believe me, I get it. You’re wondering if you’ll fit in, if it’s "your sort of thing," or if you’ll just be left standing in the corner wishing you were back on your sofa.

First off: those feelings are 100% normal. In fact, they just mean you're human! Taking that first step out of your comfort zone is always going to feel a bit "edge-of-your-seat" scary.

But here is my promise to you: From the second you walk through our doors, those nerves are going to be replaced by something much nicer. 💖

I pride myself on how warm and welcoming our groups are. I have an incredible social team ready to look after you the moment you arrive, and we’ll always find you a lovely person to sit next to. It honestly won't be long before you feel like you've always been part of the family.

It’s so important to me that every single person feels safe and comfortable, because that’s exactly what I needed when I was a member, too.

So, take a deep breath, lovely people. Just take that first step through the door... and we’ll take care of the rest. ###x

It’s National Chip Week, and in our Slimming World groups, that is definitely something to celebrate! 🍟✨

Gone are the days of thinking chips are "off the menu." At Slimming World, we know the humble potato is a Free Food powerhouse. When you peel them, slice them, and cook them the Food Optimising way, you can enjoy a plateful of golden, crispy chips without a shred of guilt.

How to stay on track this Chip Week:
The SW Way: Use a low-calorie cooking spray (like Frylight) instead of oil to keep them Swip-free!

The Crunch Factor: Try par-boiling your spuds for 5 minutes, shaking them in the pan to roughen the edges, and then air-frying or roasting until crispy.

The Variety: Whether it’s chunky wedges, skinny fries, or even sweet potato chips (count as a Healthy Extra or Swip depending on prep), there’s a chip for every mood.

If you’re fasting during Ramadan and juggling kids at home, this is your reminder:
