Today supported the Head & Neck Autumn Meeting - Management of Hypopharyngeal Cancer (HPC) in Newcastle at the in Newcastle.

The meeting offered an evidence-based, comprehensive look at hypopharyngeal cancer, from diagnosis to advanced management and recovery. Over 100 attendees joined across seven expert-led sessions, with a consensus panel translating insights into practical guidance.

A new wave of innovation 🌊 has arrived at

Ninewells Hospital, Dundee now have the UNILAS Touch Pro CO₂ Laser System from Limmer Laser GmbH within the Dermatology department.

With the improved power, precision and technology over it’s predecessor within the Clinic more patient treatments will be able to be carried out under a local anaesthetic freeing up Theatre resources.

The UNILAS Touch Pro will be used for a variety of treatments from minor ablations, and simple excisions to more advance skin resurfacing from scars.

recently carried out the end user training and case support with the first patient treatments by Consultant Dermatologists Dr John Foerster & Faisal Dubash.

recently provided the patient positioning and visualisation devices for the new outpatient High Resolution Anoscopy (HRA) service at

Patients with A**l Intraepithelial Neoplasia (AIN) - a pre cancer, will now be able to be seen and treated in an ambulatory setting. This moves the patient experience from an inpatient, general anaesthetic procedure to a local anaesthetic day case, freeing up theatre time and saving valuable resources.

Ocean Med® advised and supplied the patient positioning with the Medi-matic® Patient Chair, which gives the Team the ability to treat patients in a lithotomy, supine or lateral position. The electric and memory movements speed up workflow and reduce manual handling of patients.

The 985 Anoscope with Imaging Cart was provided enabling precision visualisation with best in class optics.

The Gynaecology department at Colchester Hospital part of recently received their Medi-matic® 115.9 Patient Chair. also carried out the installation and end user training.

Patients will mainly be positioned for ultrasound diagnostics on the Medi-matic®. With the versatility of the Medi-matic® patients can have abdominal and transvaginal ultrasound scans in both supine and lithotomy positions.
