While everyone is busy with spooky activities, I quietly ponder about the magic hidden in this dark season, the season of witches, the otherworld. šŸ§™

There’s a soft invitation now, welcoming us back into the Cave.

In a light-worshipping culture, we have forgotten how our animal bodies thrive in the dark.
We rest, make love, birth our babies in the darkness.
It is essential to our nervous system,
yet we evade it.

When we embrace the darkness, we open up to the deeply creative wild soul waiting to be witnessed.

The Witch comes with her gifts!

Welcoming October's wild release!

ā€œI will cut adrift—I will sit on pavements and drink coffee—I will dream; I will take my mind out of its iron cage and let it swim—this fine October.ā€
Virginia Woolf

After a long summer, the online yoga nidra circles are starting again on Monday 6th October. This gathering will be an invitation to meet "our calling".

ā€œCallingā€ is a multi-dimensional concept.
It's not what we are drawn to, the purpose we aspire to, but it is also what pulls us in the direction of becoming.
What we have always longed for is also the deep longing of this universe. We just need the soul tending, the silence, the rest, to simply notice it.

Come join us on Monday 6 October, 8-9:30pm to let your mind out of its cage with gentle pelvic yoga, and rest deeply with yoga nidra.

Sliding scale tickets available on bio.

With love,

Your hands are the extension of your heart.

I’m wondering if AI will replace human hands one day.
Perhaps it’s easier to replicate the hands that type on the keyboard or operate a machine, or even the hand that washes the windows, or play the violin.

But the energy of the heart that animate the hand will still be irreplaceable. The hand-heart that holds, touches, creates art, makes love with its thousands of nerve endings.

So honour your hands- they work hard.
The peace and healing that we seek is right here in those wings. šŸ‘šŸ»

ā•My holistic birth prep & doula spaces open up from end of October.

ā•Womb massage & Closing the bones ceremonies available from my place (SE9) or yours on Tuesday/ Friday and Saturdays.

ā•Soon, more touch-therapies (including reiki šŸ‘šŸ») coming up…

From my hand-heart to yours…

Love,
Pinar šŸ’œ

Hello loves!
I’ve been quiet for long, but the truth is, life happened. Lots of transitions, way too many to be narrated.

That’s the thing about the thresholds- they demand our undivided attention so we can fully dive into the experience.

Wonderful things happened on the way- the family I supported over the last few months are now settled in their home, after months in the NICU. Baby is thriving. His parents are true warriors!

My son has finished primary school and is soon to be a secondary school kiddo. A slice of his childhood is now over, it feels raw.

I applied for a job that I had my heart on, and did not get it. A good sign: I am probably where I’m meant to be.šŸ›šŸ¦‹

Taught yoga to beautiful mamas over the past weeks and some have already had their babies. One of them had real fear of labour, and now at 36 weeks, she’s a fierce goddess. šŸ”„

And the lavenders? They’re for women I never met beyond the screen. After two years gathering online, we’ll finally unite in Istanbul in August.
Women are medicine, circles are the antidote to anyone burning out at the thresholds ā•

Looking forward to more space holding for autumn and beyond!
Love,
Pinar

My son saw me being swallowed by a kraken in his dream last night.
I didn’t tell him it feels as if the whole world is being swallowed, by not one but two krakens!

There are moments when stillness feels right, to pray, to grieve.

Getting my roots down deeper into this earth, so I can rise up, stronger.

Happy summer solstice to all humans who are making a difference every day with kindness, big or small...

With gratitude to Life, to Peace, to our shared humanity.

Love,
Pinar šŸ¤

If I’ve ever given you roses from my garden
There’s a reason.

May be it was a celebration of the scents you bring into my life;
May be it is to sit with you in your sorrow and grief;
May be it is a way to say come rest my dear, let’s pause a little;
May be it is an invitation to open your heart for what’s to come;

The roses are for you to trust your own medicine, your heart’s own magic.

My roses are here when you’re blooming and bright
And when you are worn out and dry.

Honouring your love and tears, your prayers and beauty.šŸ’œ

Our bodies deserve self-care.

A mother’s belly - with its curves, scars and stretch marks - is where we all began. And mothers deserve to be treated, with love, with touch, with nourishment.

Yoga and postpartum massage are beautiful ways to honour our bodies for carrying, birthing and raising a human.
Come join me for pregnancy yoga every Wednesday 6-7pm, to connect with your body, your baby and other pregnant mamas.

And newborn or seasoned mothers!

I’m here to honour your birth experience (and all the crazy emotions it carries) through postpartum massage and closing the bones ceremonies.
Dm me for more info!

Love,
Pinar x
