I’m delighted to be ending the year featured in The London Magazine as part of their New Year Health & Wellness edition.

This year has been one of intention, depth and meaningful change, so it feels especially fitting to be included in a conversation about how we reset, realign and move forward into 2026.

They say the biggest fear most people have is public speaking. And honestly… I get it.

I wasn’t always confident speaking on panels like this. Years ago, in an old marketing agency, a senior boss made a comment that hit every one of my insecurities. It flipped a switch I didn’t know I had. Overnight, something I’d once been comfortable with became terrifying. My mind associated “being seen” with judgement, criticism, danger. Every presentation felt like a threat. My hands shook. My voice cracked. I felt like a complete wreck.

What changed everything was understanding that fear isn’t a personality trait. It’s a pattern. And patterns can be rewired.

Hypnosis played a huge role in that shift, it goes beyond surface confidence tips. It works with the subconscious, the part of the mind that stores old experiences, old meanings, and the protective responses we don’t even realise we’re running.

In my own sessions, I discovered the exact moment my mind decided public speaking meant “unsafe.” Then I reframed it, updated it, and installed a new belief: being seen is safe, my voice is strong, and I belong in the room. It completely changed how I show up - now you can’t get me off the stage!

It’s the same process I now guide clients through. Whether it’s speaking on stage, speaking up in meetings, or even speaking their truth in their own lives, once the subconscious pattern changes, the behaviour changes naturally.

Confidence isn’t something you force. It’s something you build from the inside out.

So if you’ve ever wondered why you “freeze,” shake, stumble or overthink when it’s your turn to speak… it’s not you. It’s a programme. And programmes can be rewritten.

Stepping into this week with some lovely news. I’ve officially been awarded Senior Practitioner Level with the GHR and can now add SQHP (Senior Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice) to my name.

This means a lot to me. Not because of the letters, but because of what they represent, the years of study, the clients who’ve trusted me, and the deep belief that real change starts in the subconscious.

Every session, every breakthrough, every moment someone finally feels lighter, free or the best version of themselves that’s what drives me. And recognitions like this remind me how much I love the work I do.

Thank you to my clients, mentors and supporters who’ve been with me on this journey. There’s so much more coming.

Gratitude isn’t just a “nice habit,” it is brain training.

Neuroscience shows that when you repeatedly direct your attention to positive moments – gratitude, small wins, beauty, kindness, progress – you strengthen the neural pathways linked to optimism and emotional resilience. Over time, your brain gets better at noticing what is good and releasing what is stressful. That rewiring process is called neuroplasticity: your thoughts literally reshape your brain.

Ok a rainy Monday I’m not just looking back at these photos from the Bahamas, I’m not just reminiscing about turquoise water and sunsets. I’m deliberately teaching my brain: this is what safety, joy and expansion feel like. The more I focus on that, the more my mind expects, searches for and amplifies similar experiences in daily life. Not quite sure I’ll find a beach, but a similar feeling.

Gratitude doesn’t mean ignoring what hurts. It means giving at least equal airtime to what supports you, so your nervous system has a different script to follow.

Today I’m grateful for:
🌊 Time in nature
💛 Work that allows this freedom
👥 The people I shared it with
🧠 A brain that can keep rewiring at any age

Feeling really proud today 💫

My first published piece is out in this month’s Aesthetics Journal!

It explores how hypnotherapy can support patients in the aesthetics space - helping people feel as good within themselves as they look on the outside.

This topic is so close to my heart. So much of confidence, healing and self-perception begins in the subconscious mind and it’s amazing to see this conversation growing within the medical aesthetics world.

Tuesday Night we explored one of my favourite subjects - reframing ageing.

Alongside the brilliant and and hosted by we discussed how the stories we tell ourselves about ageing influence everything from our hormones and stress response to the health of our skin and eyes.

The science is clear: your beliefs shape your biology.
Every thought releases a chemical, every emotion sends a signal, and your body listens.

In Harvard’s famous “Counterclockwise” study, older men were placed in an environment designed to feel twenty years younger. Within a week, their memory, hearing, posture and even vision improved. The only thing that changed was their perception of age - and their bodies followed their minds.

When we shift from “I’m getting old” to “I’m evolving beautifully,” we literally rewire the brain and calm the chemistry that accelerates ageing.

Ageing well isn’t about resisting change - it’s about thriving through it, with awareness, compassion and curiosity for the body’s incredible intelligence.
