We then had a heart warming tea party for our residents, their families, and members of our lovely community. We played games, shared plenty of laughter, and had such a lovely time together.

We celebrated Cake4Kindness Day in the sweetest way. Our wonderful chef, Amanda, baked the most delicious cupcakes, and we were out and about in the community sharing them with our neighbours. CCake4Kindness CIC

Our Christmas campaign is officially underway, and we’re so pleased to be supporting Age UK Wandsworth this year with their Make Someone Happy campaign.

Our donation box is now out and looking festive, ready for any contributions that can help make someone’s Christmas a little brighter. If you have any donations, you can pop into our home and drop them off, or if you would like to find out more, please feel free to contact us directly.

We had a wonderful time at the Brompton Oratory Christmas party.

We marked International Men’s Day with a lovely visit to our local pub, The Telegraph.

Our gentlemen enjoyed relaxed chats, good company and a cosy atmosphere that made the afternoon feel really special.

It’s always a joy celebrating the wonderful men in our community and creating moments that make them smile.

On Friday 14th November, we enjoyed celebrating King Charles III’s birthday by baking a cake in his honour. It was a calm, cosy afternoon in the kitchen, and everyone loved being part of the celebration.

Today, we came together at to honour Remembrance Day.
We paused for a two minute silence to reflect and remember those who served and sacrificed for our freedom.
Our residents and team joined in heartfelt hymns, and afterwards, we raised a toast to the brave men and women who gave so much for us all. Lest we forget.

Today we created a beautiful Hands Wreath for Remembrance Day during our reminiscence session. Each handprint represents love, unity, and cherished memories of those who served and sacrificed. A wreath full of memories, made with heartfelt respect and remembrance. ❤️🌺

V for Vendetta Movie Night 🎬
To celebrate Guy Fawkes Day we settled in to watch V for Vendetta in our cinema.

The film draws inspiration from the story of Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot, using the iconic mask as a symbol of standing up against corruption. While set in a dramatic future, it’s a thought provoking reminder of rebellion and the famous rhyme: “Remember, remember the 5th of November…”

A perfect mix of history, symbolism, and a little cinematic thrill.
