Stella Baker

Stella Baker Mystic, shaman, dreamweaver, author of Creative Law and founder of Qultura, writer. This is how I came to be me. So what about you? What's your story?

I'm a mystic, shaman, writer, researcher, author Creative Law and the founder of Qultura, the first UK derivative of Therevada (Southern) Buddhism which is a complete methodology, an empathy-focussed community and Qultura Core, a central volunteering and activist hub based on universal volunteering, a system of volunteering which is completely self-identifying, self-regulating and self-perpetuating. The complete Qultura methodology is contained in an e-book titled 'The Principle and the Process' which is just 97 pages in PDF format. This is a complete system through which you can learn mindfulness, discipline and create your own unique lifestyle based on your humanity, life experience, unique perspective on life and individual truth. This all started back in 1983 when aged 17 I entered training under an elderly Bangladeshi Therevada master in London who trained me to be a Buddhist shaman during the last years of his life. I was trained on the basis of Khaggavisana Sutta - the Rhinoceros Sutra and also trained in Vipassana meditation (which took me around 15 further years to master). I was encouraged to study mysticism, magic, the deep occult as well as astrology and the Tarot in preparation for the Age of Aquarius, which starts in 2024 when Pluto enters the astrological sign of Aquarius to spend 20 years in that sign. Inspired by the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 I decided to become a writer and a dramatist and after being rejected by every single literary agent in the UK left for Poland and broke through in Polish alternative theatre early in 1995 with a comedy called Cabbages, the same year I was commissioned to write for Polish film director Krzysztof Kieslowski who died during my first commission. However I'm not that well known as I've never ever been commercially successful as a Fringe dramatist. However since 1996 I was giving drama workshops to people affected by social stigma and social exclusion and this is where I learned that drama, and not meditation, is one of the most effective and efficient routes to mindfulness and discipline. So I decided to focus on drama workshops in local communities with people who were socially excluded and from this developed Qultura methodology, at the time believing it was just a simplified interpretation of the Stanislavski method of acting. At the end of 2005 I returned to London and between 2007 and 2009 as much as possible isolated myself from society to live among trees and nature in Battersea Park in London to become a shaman and find my individual truth. This is where I learned the differences between the natural world and human society and actually became a shaman. If I 'achieved' so called nirvana and enlightenment, then it was in among the trees in Battersea Park, some 10 minutes walk away from Chelsea Bridge, hidden away from paths and people. Immediately after becoming a shaman in Battersea Park I developed Creative Law and together with a close friend, Ian 'Fibbo' Fibbens (1965-2013) established the Qultura community and Qultura Core in Nine Elms, London. I teach mindfulness, discipline, empathy in very real, very direct methods centred around creativity and empathy. I can do this on a one to one basis (for which i don't charge) or in the local community in groups where I can create and develop drama workshops, other creative activities, and give talks, lectures and seminars on mindfulness, discipline, Buddhism, the occult, Natural Law, magic, mysticism, consciousness, the I-Ching, astrology, and pretty much any meta-physical or spiritual topic you can think of. What can i do for you? How can I help you? If you dig deep through this page you should find a short 5 minute video which gives you the basics, details of my books and info on my website. We can connect through email, Whatsapp, Skype, Zoom, and if you're in London even meet up for coffee.
