ABOUT NUTRITION

Naturopathic Nutrition focuses on the whole person, and not their symptoms. In acknowledging that everyone is unique and, therefore, has unique needs, the use of naturopathic principles alongside the correct nutrition can promote physical, emotional, mental healing and wellbeing. As a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist, Lily recognise’s that everybody is different and there is no “one size fits all” way of eating, or road to healing and feeling 'well'. In her consultations, Lily ensures there is a thorough understanding of the clients personal history, goals, needs and lifestyle in order to create a program that is tailored to their individual requirements. ABOUT LILY

Lily’s passion for nutrition began with my own health journey, having suffered from depression, anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder. Unsatisfied with the treatment options and ‘nutritional advice’ recommended to her, she decided to research and discover how to heal myself through diet and lifestyle changes. Lily is passionate about helping others reclaim their health and reclaim their relationship with food and their body through dietary and lifestyle tools. The way we entered this world leaves deep somatic imprints that shape how we move through life.

So many of us entered this world dramatically…forced, pulled or rushed. We arrived from the darkness of the womb to artificial bright lights, in to the hands of latex gloves and maybe even hooked straight on to machines. Some with the umbilical cord wrapped around the neck and some don’t even enter through the portal of the womb itself.

How we arrive in this world and take our first breath sets the blue print of our life. The body, our breath encodes this moment. It’s the first moment that we claim ourselves in this realm. A rite of passage. How we say this is me and I am here.

It can affect our physiology by showing up as tension around the neck and jaw, difficulties taking full breaths in to parts of the body.

It shows up in how we view fear + safety, how we relate to others, how we express, how we hold boundaries, our emotional tone, how we trust, how we surrender. It feeds into so many of the stories that we hold around belonging, safety and trust.

Every time we take a breath we can learn how to breathe into a new beginning.

Through breath + somatics we can help the body to repattern, unwind, and relearn how to lean into safety, expansion and trust.

Learning about my own birth story and working through these layers has given me such profound insight into my emotional, mental and physical patterning and I’ve seen it transform my clients worlds too.

It’s something we’ll talk about in the upcoming workshop “Return to the Womb” with myself and .divine.aura.doula .dracona

Womb, breath and creation. Divine intelligence and technology.

In a Snapshot:
🌀Spirals exist everywhere. Look to nature and the Fibonacci sequence.
🤰We were birthed through an impulse of creation within the womb, forming a spiral of energy
🧬That energy moves through our body, through our breath and that lives within our own womb too.
🌬️Through the breath we can restore the spiralic rhythm through the body and reconnect the pelvis + the lungs and the Womb + heart.
🤍Restoring this connection returns us to source, to our power.
🐍It allows energy to flow up, around and through us, helping to move what has been held and stored in the body, in the womb, in the heart so that we can make s**ce to renew, to return and remember.

Join .divine.aura.doula and I on 22nd November for Return to the Womb where we’ll dive deeper into the womb, and breath and all the juiciness of this topic and practices to help you connect back.

The greatest illusion is that we are separate from nature. The 🌀is the pattern that lives through all life. It exists within 🐚🌊🧬🌌.and it lives within us.

When we allow the natural flow to 🌀 through us, the body remembers how to return. It reorganises. It makes s**ce. Channels open. Energy flows. Frequency realigns. Coherence returns.

Allow the body to remember.
Allow breath to move through you.
Allow life to unfold within you.

In each breath we remember, reconnect and return home.

Return to the womb: A 4-hour ceremonial immersion weaving cacao, womb wisdom + care, conscious breath and embodied + somatic practices to deepen the connection and trust with the body’s primordial wisdom.

Guided by Claira .divine.aura.doula, womb massage therapist, holistic Doula & postpartum practitioner of Closing the Bones, and Lily Isobel , somatic breathwork facilitator, woman’s guide, and embodied nutritionist, this journey invites you to return home to yourself through the portal of the womb through the sacred language of breath, somatics and touch.

Together we’ll explore:

⊹ Womb wisdom & the power of the breath
⊹ Somatic and embodied practices to reconnect to body awareness and the connection between the pelvic and thoracic diaphragms
⊹ Self-womb & abdominal massage techniques for reconnection and care
⊹ Conscious Connected Breathwork to release stored emotion and tension
⊹ Rebozo holding for integration and containment
⊹ Cacao, journaling, sharing and integration

This is a s**ce for women to reconnect with the root of the feminine, whether you are in a cycle of creation, transition, loss, or renewal. All with a womb s**ce are welcome.

Every organ in the body has a voice, carries a vibration, aligns with energy, and carries emotional stories.

We’re living in a time where the world is aching, grieving, and raging.

The energy is strong AF.

On every level it’s being felt - physically, energetically, emotionally and on both the personal and collective level.

Tending to the personal body, our energy fields and our emotional landscapes supports and strengthens the collective body, our collective field and the wellbeing of humanity.

Remember: we are born of one womb, breathing through one lung, beating with one heart, and drinking from the same sacred well.

We are not who we once were and not yet who we are becoming.

It’s uncomfortable. Painful. Unbearable at times.

We’re asked to pause, have patience and drop into presence even though every part of us just wants to gain the clarity, take action and move forward.

The in between, tender and aching moments is where the magic and alchemy truly happen. Because presence is the magic. Always. In the present everything is already happening.

The becoming isn’t the destination, because you already are - even if it doesn’t feel like it, even if it’s painful AF.

It’s in the needing to arrive, needing to be, needing to have a need met, that we fall back into the patterns, the shapes and the beliefs that keep us from stepping through the threshold.

Presence is your power. The breath is your power. Your heart and your truth are your power. Never forget it.

October has arrived like a fresh of breath air and a deep exhale. It feels like a threshold where the invitation is to come closer to the breath, to body, to circle, to connection. October is about remembering that we don’t have to move through these times alone and is asking us to root into the power of community, into truth and embodied presence, authenticity and integrity.

September was an initiation, fire that burned us on personal and collective layers. It was a month of endings, shadows rising, and truths that couldn’t be ignored. It asked me (and maybe you too) to sit with what was uncomfortable, to face the deeper layers, and to keep coming back to what grounds me when the world feels chaotic.

The world stage feels scary, unpredictable and chaotic.

And so for me, Octobers medicine has become clear: come back to community, to circle, to the breath, to what regulates you.

💨 Breath circles - as a reminder that breath is an anchor that guides us back into the body, back into presence.
🌀 Womens circle - to remember the strength that rises when we sit in community and are given s**ce to be seen, heard and held.

Our connection to our body isn’t linear.

Women’s bodies don’t move in straight lines. They move in spirals. In cycles. Just like our breath. Just like nature. Just like life. Everything is in a constant state of motion.

When we walk an embodied path it asks us to honour these rhythms instead of forcing and fixing or arriving at one particular point.

Our seeking of connection to the body should focus on the questions - How can we build the capacity to be able to connect and be with what’s here in the present? How can I hold myself when what’s present feels heavy, raw or uncomfortable? How can I soften and release when all I want to do is hold and brace?

This is the real work of connection. To return to our own belonging. To return to trusting that we are always held, and that even in the spirals, even when it’s turbulent and painful, that the body is always guiding us home.

Our bodies carry stories.

Jaws that hold unsaid words.
Shoulders that carry the weight that ain’t ours.
Chest and hearts where grief gathers and aches burn.
Bellies that have tried to be silenced and edited.
Throats that have swallowed too many of our own truths.

Somatics teaches us to listen.
Breathwork teaches us to soften.
Nutrition teaches us to receive.
Ceremony reminds us it’s all sacred.

There’s no fixing to do. Just witnessing. Meeting. Listening.
Let each breath be a prayer. Each sensation an altar. Each offering a gift of nourishment.

Where does your body need witnessing today?

Each breath a prayer.
Not to affirm
but to remember.

Exhale surrender.
Inhale an invitation to remember.

May these words be prayers carried by your breath to guide you gently back home.

Your breath is the medicine. Your body is the altar.

In the divine union of the breath and body, the sacred begins to reveal itself.

The inhale gathers, the exhale surrenders.
The inhale opens, the exhale softens.
The inhale invites presence, the exhale offers release.
The inhale receives, the exhale gives.
The inhale carries life in and the exhale offers it back.

The breath is a beautiful dance of giving and receiving, holding and letting go. A rhythm which is the most ancient prayer we know, the most healing medicine we have. It is a constant reminder that we are made of both light and shadow, expansion and contraction, life and death.

Our breath allows all of the polarities that exist within us to find harmony. What might feel fragmented within can begin to soften, and what feels overwhelming starts to finds s**ce.

The body is a temple where nothing is wrong, nothing is missing. We just are. In constant rhythm with the dance of life. In a constant cycle. Each time we dance with the cycle of breath, we can offer it as a prayer.

It is this way that the sacred infuses every cell of our being and in this way, we breathe to remember that we are already both the prayer and the medicine. We are whole.

🌀 Group classes in Berkshire are incoming soon. Watch this s**c.
