I currently have an interesting opportunity for any nurses, medics or paramedics wanting to supplement their income, with a flexible research role that can fit around your existing job or substantive employment.

Particularly seeking registered healthcare professionals in the Gloucestershire region who are available to support an NHS natural history study which requires a weekly collection of biological samples from the study participants.

Full paid training is offered and availability to undertake minimum of one visit per week. Each visit is short (around 15mins) but paid for 2hrs (and additional travel time if over an hour) with competitive pay rates from £22.50 - £35 per hour (depending on time of day/day in week).

Car driver essential and must have current license to practice (NMC, GMC or HCPC) and the right to live/work in UK. Enhanced DBS will be undertaken as part of the onboarding process.

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced sexual health nurse to join our fantastic team in Newcastle. The service is currently based in the heart of the city centre and services the integrated sexual needs of the residents of Newcastle, including STI screening, diagnosis and treatment, PrEP and contraception, including Long Acting Reversible Contraceptive. We offer a mixture of walk in and appointment based clinics, including a large number of nurse lead clinics using PGDs and independent non-medical prescribers. We have a friendly supportive MDT, including our 3 lead medical clinicians, who between them have a wealth of experience, are excellent trainers and provide inclusive clinical leadership which makes the service a leader within the North East. This role will be ideal for a practice nurse, paramedic or ANP already living or working on Orkney, wanting to supplement their regular income. The trial commences from end of May with regular bi-monthly visits to the subject, who is a paediatric patient, and will require a set of vital signs, weight and blood draw, to be shipped to research facility Geneva, Switzerland by courier. Full paid training in the study protocol will be provided, as well as paid completion of the on-line Good Clinical Practice certificate from the National Institute for health and Social Research, essential to work in clinical trials. All visits paid minimum of 2hrs, and travel time from home to patient, back home is included on full pay. Please apply on-line if interested.

Would you like to build positive relationships with a regular caseload of subjects/patients on a trial, over time, with unhurried visits?

We are seeking a small number of skilled and experienced healthcare professionals who are able to assess patients, have venipuncture and cannulation skills, an eye for detail and accurate record keeping and a commitment to delivering quality care within patients own homes.

You will need to have access to transportation (as some heavy equipment is required for clinical visits, such as portable centrifuges), and be able to work as a self-employed associate. You must be able to demonstrate Right to Work in the UK and be willing to undergo an enhanced level DBS check.

In return, we offer excellent hourly rates, flexible working, autonomy with visit scheduling, paid training and Continuing Professional Development in relation to clinical trials, professional indemnity when working on our behalf and an excellent Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
