In our Super Spring Raffle, everyone's a potential winner!

Christine has supported St Christopher's for over 20 years after we cared for her friend and, more recently, her brother-in-law, Graham.

Christine says "I've been buying tickets for years but never think I'll win. I've always viewed it as a donation more than anything else."

Will you be our lucky winner this spring? Buy your raffle tickets today: https://bit.ly/4c0iD0Z

Only two days to go until Will Week ends.

From 23–29 March, you can write a basic Will for free with a trusted local solicitor. It’s a simple way to make sure the people who matter to you are cared for in the future. If you choose, you can also leave a gift that helps St Christopher’s support people and their families for years to come.

Appointments are limited and offered on a first come, first served basis, so please contact your chosen solicitor as soon as you can. Head to the link in our bio to read the terms and conditions and download the list of solicitors taking part.

“For as long as we keep living in south London, we’ll carry on doing Fun Walk.”

Nadia Kruger and her husband Sean have taken part in Fun Walk every year since 2015, still wearing the same t‑shirts they first walked in. For them, it’s the friendly atmosphere, beautiful routes and sense of community that keep them coming back.

This Will Week (23–29 March), trusted local solicitors are donating their time so you can write a basic Will at no cost to you. It’s a simple way to tick “write my Will” off your list with support you can trust.

In return, we just ask that you think about making a donation or leaving a gift in your Will to help St Christopher’s care for more people and their families, now and in the future.

Steve Smith, Our Chief Executive says:

“This report confirms what we in the sector already know - hospices across the country are under increasing strain as a chronic underfunding collides with rapidly rising need. While parliament debates the Assisted Dying Bill, hospices are being forced to cut back frontline services. There is a clear lack of effective oversight of the independent hospice sector.

“At St Christopher’s we’ve managed to protect our services so far – but demand in south London alone jumped by 11% last year, and it’s only going to rise as our population ages and care shifts out of hospitals and into the community in line with the government’s approach.

“The details of the Modern Service Framework for palliative and end-of-life care still remain unclear, and many of our fellow hospices cannot wait much longer. We therefore need an urgent review of hospice funding now to ensure that no matter where people live, they receive the care they deserve at the end of life.”
