I'm a highly qualified massage therapist and healer and I've been practising in North London for over 15 years. I specialise in musculo-skeleto and associated physical health issues that can benefit from massage treatments. I work with all ages and many conditions, including cancer. I am fully insured, have an enhanced DBS and run my own private practice, White Wave Complementary Therapy.

It’s all go here at Read my Lips, my lip-reading organisation. Our next course - an Introduction to Lip-Reading - starting on 21st October, launches today. The autumn newsletter has just gone out, the advert is with the local paper, the leaflet is at the printers, the posters are being hand printed right now - and finally, we are finishing the website.

White Wave - 10 years in the making...

White Wave is just finishing its 10th year. A private therapy practice in Muswell Hill, with therapist Jennie Parke Matheson delivering a variety of 1+1 treatments - both hands-on and hands-off.

Jennie originally worked in theatre and live event production, but re-trained as a practical therapist. This enabled her to stay closer to home and work directly with people - by helping them with physical, emotional and sometimes personal issues, as inevitably they are inter-linked.

Since qualifying as a Deep Tissue Massage Therapist and Energy Healer, Jennie has gradually added a range of additional skills to her therapeutic “tool-box”. Her most recent qualification is in Manual Lymphatic Drainage. As a consequence she offers a complementary selection of treatments for people to choose from, which can vary each session. And you can have mixed sessions.

All sessions are tailored specifically to each person, meeting their specific needs each time. There is no “routine”. As a deep tissue specialist she understands what level of pressure and type of stroke to use, and when. No two people are the same.
