“Thankfully, many non-surgical issues can be fixed relatively easily, it just takes time, a bit of money and patience but as always it’s much better to get it right the first time.

Many of these issues are caused by not preparing the skin sufficiently before treatment:

1. Under eye “cushions” - too much filler in the wrong place. Instead of going wild with the hyaluronic acid, improve the skin quality first so less filler is needed. This can be done with products such as SuneKOS®, polynucleotides like Rejuran®, and lasers like Sciton™.

2. Mr. Spock eyebrows - an easy fix with more toxin to drop the brow.

3. A gaunt jawline- radiofrequency or HIFU can cause this. The solution is JULÄINE® or Profhilo™ Structura® to replace the fat. I don’t like using HIFU on thinner faces, but it’s great for faces like mine that can lose a little extra fluff.

4. Lumps and bumps after filler- sometimes the skin can be too thin to place a regular hyaluronic acid so preparatory work may need to be done with Profhilo™ Structura® or SuneKOS® beforehand.
