I work as a healer and "space clearer" which is a modern way of saying what used to be called exorcist although what's involved is not dissimilar. If your assumption is it's something best left to Roman Catholic priests, did you know the Church appoints priests to this role without any special training? I have trained for ten years - make that ten thousand years probably! - and it is a very rewarding activity. You would be amazed how much demand there is. I recorded this video a few weeks ago in a house I was working on. The room where I was standing appeared to be a "portal" - a doorway to another dimension which allowed what I like to call transdimensional entities to pass between here and there. The basis of a classic haunting. If you are familiar with any aspects of quantum theory or the duality of light, this may make a little sense. The spirit world, although awesome, is about science. It's still astonishing and mind-blowing but it is science. I believe we have been persuaded to shun these notions by science since the middle ages which has become the new religion. But it is just another form of mind control. If the extent of the imagination and experience can be restricted and manipulated, it makes it much easier to control people and make them do what you want. This meter in the video, which I have been using for ten years now, measures electro magnetic, microwave and electoral fields - tiny ones. If you place it next to a microwave when it is on, it flicks round as the waves pulse. There was nothing which could produce a significant field anywhere near it that I could perceive - if you walk around a kitchen which is full of electrical devices with this meter it doesn't show much interest. This is unprecedented. The irregularity of the field and the fluctuations were fascinating. In my experience, the readings as I rotated around the centre of the room were an indication of quite a powerful portal and would be in keeping with what I would expect in a 1,000 year old house like this one. That said, they can occur just as readily in a new build if it happens to be on a ley line, an old Druidic sacred spot or, most commonly in my experience, an old graveyard or sacrificial spot where the bodies were buried where they fell. Finally I would like to point out I was filming on my iPhone but under normal conditions, when I hold my phone to the meter on the same sensitivity setting, it doesn't even register.
