We had a fantastic time celebrating the Year of the Horse with our wonderful residents, relatives, and staff and of course.. plenty of delicious food!

We treated everyone to a massive Chinese takeaway feast, topped off with fortune cookies for a little extra luck and fun. It was the perfect way to welcome the new year together. 🥢🥠

We’ve had a fantastic few weeks at Burrows House ! 🥞 For Pancake Day, our residents enjoyed a full-on feast of delicious pancakes topped with fresh fruit, ice cream and plenty of chocolate.

As always, we loved our church visit from Bill and David from Christ Church Anerley Anerley Team Ministry , 🙏, and creativity was in full bloom during our arts and crafts sessions 🎨.

Love didn't just fill the air, it filled every heart at Burrows House! 💖✨

We kicked off this February 14th with a bang, celebrating love in all its forms. From enchanting live music that had everyone dancing to the sweet sounds of joy, to heartfelt moments shared with families, our residents and staff truly created lasting memories together.

It was an afternoon filled with laughter, connection, and a sense of community that warmed our hearts. The smiles on everyone's faces said it all! We saw generations coming together, sharing stories and creating bonds that will last a lifetime. It’s these moments that remind us of the power of love and community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in making this day so special! Your presence made our celebration unforgettable. We can’t wait for more beautiful moments like these! Let’s continue to spread love and positivity every day! 🎶❤️

Finding our rhythm and our wings! 🎶💃🕺

We had an amazing sing-along and exercise session at Burrows! It was heart-warming to see our residents not just enjoying the music, but also getting up and ‘shaking a leg’ right alongside our Activities Coordinator, Admire! 💖

The energy in the room was contagious as familiar tunes filled the air, sparking memories and igniting joy. Each note seemed to lift spirits, and it was inspiring to witness our community coming together in such a vibrant way. There’s nothing quite like song and dance to bring out the brightest smiles in our community.

We believe that activities like these are crucial for both physical health and emotional well-being. Music has a unique ability to connect us all, transcending words and bringing us closer together. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event so special!

It was wonderful to see all our residents getting involved, finding their groove, and sharing in the joy of the activity. A lively and fun-filled session that left everyone smiling and energized! ✨💛

Not only was this an enthusiastic session with joy and high spirits, but the movement session also improves the wellbeing of residents in a safe and enjoyable way! 😄 💫

Haggis, neeps, tatties and a whole lot of smiles! 🎶

We brought a taste of the Highlands into our home today as we celebrated Burns Night. Our lovely residents had a fantastic time marking the life and poetry of Rabbie Burns, surrounded by music, dancing, singing and plenty of delicious refreshments.

With families joining us and not a “tim’rous beastie” in sight, it was the perfect way to spend a January evening and a lovely celebration of togetherness and tradition.
