We’re proud to celebrate the opening of our new community café at the Old Goodmayes Hospital, bringing colleagues together while supporting something bigger.

Alongside the celebrations, staff helped raise £200 for the NELFT NHS Charity through a prize draw and guessing challenge. From 1 April 2026, NHS 111 option 2 replaced the previous 0800 995 1000 and 0300 Mental Health Direct lines.

If you’re in a mental health crisis, call NHS 111 and press option 2 to speak to a trained mental health professional.

📞 Lines are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Already using NELFT services? Please continue to contact your usual team during working hours (9am–5pm).

Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge, Havering and Waltham Forest residents will no longer be able to call 0800 995 1000. Just call 111.

NHS 111 option 2 is now a single national number for urgent mental health support. This means you can quickly reach the right help for you, with local crisis lines now part of the 111 system for easier access.

Looking after your mental wellbeing is vital. If you're finding things tough, remember help is available any time—day or night, all year round. 🕑 📅
