📍 Location: Redcar & Cleveland

Role: Senior SEND Sports Coach

Times:
Marske: Mondays, 4:30–6:30pm
Eston: Wednesdays, 4:00–6:00pm
Holidays: Thursdays, 10:00am–3:00pm

We’re looking for an experienced coach, teaching assistant, or education professional with a passion for supporting children and young people with SEND.

This is a great opportunity to take a lead role within our coaching team, delivering high-quality sport and activity-based sessions.

You’ll bring energy, creativity, and fresh ideas to your delivery, helping us run engaging, inclusive, safe, and enjoyable sessions that truly support the young people we work with.

If you’re confident leading sessions and want to make a positive impact through sport and activity, we’d love to hear from you.

🔑 Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in coaching or working with SEND children
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Available for the specified sessions
- DBS check in place

🚒 What a day for our SportWorks DurhamWorks learners! 🚒

This week, our learners had the fantastic opportunity to visit Durham Fire Station and hear first-hand from fire officers about the wide range of roles within the Fire Service.

From learning about emergency response and teamwork to exploring career pathways both on and off the front line, the visit gave everyone a real insight into the dedication, skills, and commitment needed to work in the service.

A huge thank you to the incredible team at Durham Fire Station for taking the time to share their experiences, showcase the fire engine and equipment, and inspire our young people with valuable advice for the future.

Opportunities like this help our learners build confidence, broaden horizons, and see what’s possible for their next steps.

📅 Hours:

Monday evenings: 5:45pm – 7:15pm (Byker)
Friday evenings: 7:00pm – 9:00pm (Walker)

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

Lead fun, engaging football sessions 🏃‍♂️⚽

Looking for a rewarding role in Yarm? Join us as a Community Activator and help make tennis more inclusive for everyone!

📍 Location: Yarm
⏱ Hours: 4 hours per week

Mondays 10am–12pm – Walking Tennis
Saturdays 1pm–3pm – Wheelchair Tennis

We are looking to appoint a coach to deliver both sessions, although we welcome applications from candidates interested in delivering only one session.

🎯 Focus: Supporting inclusive tennis sessions

About the Role
You’ll support tennis sessions for adults with disabilities and those with lower mobility or confidence, helping create a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging environment alongside a Lead Tennis Coach.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support delivery of inclusive tennis sessions
• Encourage and assist participants
• Create a positive, welcoming environment
• Assist the Lead Tennis Coach
• Help ensure sessions are enjoyable for all

What We’re Looking For:
