Kanbar Hossein Bor, the Acting High Commissioner, hosted the visiting of the UK Bangladesh Catalysts of Commerce & Industry (UKBCCI) delegation at the British High Commission yesterday. He heard how successful UK business people in the UKBCCI were keen to explore opportunities in Bangladesh, as well as to attract investment to the UK.

Kanbar Hossein Bor said that Bangladesh was on the up, it was becoming more prosperous, and he wanted the UKBCCI to help get that message out to a wider audience in the UK to encourage more British businesses to come here. He noted the important role for the diaspora in that effort. They were a living bridge between the UK and Bangladesh and could be instrumental in helping economic growth in both countries.
