Here at Shimmering Light we offer alternative healing methods also known as Holistic Therapies, in and around London. Shimmering Light is run by Felicia, who is a Holistic Therapist and a Reiki Practitioner. Felicia is DBS checked and currently volunteers with Mind in Haringey, North London and with Age UK, in Barnes in North West London. Her aim is to help clear blockages from the physical body and the subtle bodies. It uses universal energy, which is channelled through the practitioner to the client. Felicia aims to better your well-being for your mind, body and spirit.

🔮 Demonstrating Mediumship 🔮

Demonstrating mediumship is where a medium is the communicator between the spirit and earth plane. Messages are given with love as well as evidence that the spirit person is with you.

Tuesday 18th November 2025 I will be demonstrating mediumship with Wood Spiritualist Church at Langham Social Club, Green Lanes N8.

It’s free to entry but you can make a free Will offering. Service starts a 7:30.

🦂🌑✨ Reiki Clinic + Super Full Moon in Scorpio ✨🌑🦂

This month’s Reiki Clinic falls near the Super Full Moon in Scorpio.

This Full Moon is a super moon meaning that it will be looking bigger in the sky above us. The Scorpio full moon, is calling us to embrace our deep emotions and desires. You may feel more of a pull and feel your emotional all over the place - but it’s okay just some self love and be gentle with yourself.

This is also the optimal time to do your releases. What doesn’t align with you. Think back to your goals and desires - are they still in alignment with you.

How can you be of better service to self? How can you help soothe your inner waters?

This is where Reiki can help. Reiki can help to hold you in a space of reflection. Help release what is no longer needed and make space for what is.

🥳 It’s Our Birthday & We are10🥳

It’s our 10th Birthday and to celebrate we are doing a raffle to the end of October.

We couldn’t have gotten this far without your continued support. Some people have been with us from the beginning of our journey. In the 10 years, there were times I didn’t think we’d still be running. Times I was thinking to give up. However, each time we rose and expanded. In the early years, we were at the Mind Body Spirit fairs and the Mind Body Soul - where we met our first wave clients. Then a few years ago, we won awards for business. After a few hard years - personally - we have rose again like a phoenix 🐦‍🔥.

🪬💜 Demonstrating Mediumship 💜🪬

Back on platform to demonstrate mediumship 😃 As much as it gives me anxiety it gives me so much joy doing mediumship. So many fear are presented as well as so many achievements.

What is mediumship?
Mediums are psychics but psychics aren’t mediums. Mediums are the bridge between the Earth plane and the Spirit plane. Mediums give evidential messages from loved ones who have passed on. All messages are given with love and no messages have fear. A Medium uses at least one of the Clairsenses to work with - the most common being clairvoyant.

What is platform?
Platform is like a stage like setting where the medium connects to the group of people (the congregation) and gives messages aloud to as many people the medium can in a one hour window. The medium opens and closes the space with a pray and shares of inspiration.

Most people who attend a spiritual church are open to receive a message but also know if you don’t want a message it’s okay to say you don’t want one.

This month’s reiki clinic is blessed with the full moon energy and a luna eclipse. The full moon in Pisces is a great time to release and let go what’s not serving and reflect on love and intuition. The 7th sept, is the start of the eclipse season.

Under this full moon and the eclipse marks a special time of transformation. The energy from the astral powers above brings together the lessons of love and surrender that we have had throughout the year.

Uranus also starts its retrograde.

💗 Share the Love 💗

I remember every event show I done or went to I would visit Sam . I would write a letter of love, empowerment or/a positivity. Sam will place the letter around the venue and also outside.

I would draw on the paper as well as covering the letter and envelope in stickers and glitter. I would take friends and colleagues round to go do the same.

Yesterday, I found one that was left for me. The words in this letter couldn’t be any more relevant today than it was all those years ago.

I share it with you hoping the words will also help you.

Thank you that person who shared a bit of their heart to a stranger.
