Welcome to the new BMA Charities page. BMA Charities is an independent charity which supports:
1. Doctors in hardship, possibly through illness
2. Medical Students in hardship
3. Refugee Doctors who are part of a recognised programme helping them towards GMC registration.
Although independent, we retain the name of the BMA [British Medical Association] in our title to acknowledge the strong links between us: three of our Trustees are ex officio appointed by the BMA.
