Wednesdays are Pro days over the next few weeks. In the morning, we are focusing on the business and admin side. - I will share everything that I use to build and keep the salon running
In the afternoon we focus on practical skills- bring a model and I will help you develop your skills on how to consult with clients, choose products for the style and feel more confident with afro hair.
Spaces are super limited so don’t miss out. If you’re a pro and want another class or service, let me know in the comments and I will see what I can do.

World Trichology Congress - day one dump

I’m not the best at blowing my own trumpet but over 200 5 star reviews is a MASSIVE achievement. I usually just skim the reviews to see if I need to make any adjustments as I feel like they are for potential clients not me. Reading how my work is impacting people is pretty amazing and also when class attendees send picture updates proper warms my heart. There are a few changes that have been happening at Untype and a couple more to come. While social media has really helped, it doesn’t allow for the depth or openness needed to really talk about hair loss. Also chasing the algorithm is hard work. While I will still be posting, I want to focus more over on the website. I have been trying to make a forum to allow for us to really connect. If you are not already, sign up to the mailing list where all the news drops first. I won’t spam you I promise!

Untangling links between the brain and hair event. Really interesting day of talks on the science behind how the brain and hair interact. You should look up the featured speakers and a lovely phd student recommended the event for black researchers.
