What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle, Japanese healing technique for stress reduction and relaxation using spiritual energy to balance the whole person physically, psychologically, emotionally and spiritually. It is based on the idea that ’life-force energy’ flows through us and every living energy of the Earth, including starts and planets. It keeps us alive.

It can be used for spiritual healing, self-improvement and as a complementary treatment to provide emotional support. Reiki treats the body, emotions, mind and spirit and it offers a window of peace, comfort and tranquillity. It brings harmony and balance and a generally calmer response to life challenges.

This is a 30-45 minutes treatment, fully clothed, in a peaceful environment, where you feel comfortable, warm and protected. It is a hands-on healing process with the hands on or above the body. It does not involve massage.
