We’re delighted to share that Animal Ark has joined DNA Vetcare as our 50th practice, a significant moment in our journey as an independent veterinary group.

From day one, we’ve welcomed three permanent vets into the team, providing immediate stability and continuity for clients. We’re also preparing for a return to a seven-day service, improving access for pet owners across the community.

To support the team from the outset, we have invested in a cutting-edge ultrasound machine, reinforcing our commitment to progressive, high-quality clinical care and giving colleagues the best tools to deliver outstanding outcomes.

This is an exciting new chapter for Animal Ark, and a proud moment for DNA Vetcare. 🍾✨

Looking Back on 2025: A Year of Growth and Impact 💚 🌟

As we reflect on 2025, we’re incredibly proud of what has been a landmark year for our veterinary family, defined by innovation, expansion, community, and an unwavering commitment to improving animal health and welfare.

Stronger, broader veterinary care across our group 🌟

This year marked a major milestone with the opening of our first referral centre. Advanced Vetcare will enhance veterinary care for patients, boasting the first MRI in South London and the expansion of Eye Vetcare into London, strengthening our ophthalmology service.

We celebrated a significant clinical achievement at Streatham Hill Veterinary Surgery, completing 1,000 CT scans 💚

Our commitment to round-the-clock emergency care continued with the launch of 24 Hour Vetcare at Old Registry Vets and Briar House Veterinary Surgery.

2025 was another year of expansion, as we welcomed Vet Call Veterinary Surgery, Knotts Yard Vets, Animalism Veterinary Surgery, Westhorne Vets, Winton Lodge Vets Epsom, Winton Lodge Vets Leatherhead, and Tooting Vets to our network of excellence.

Celebrating our people and our impact

We were recognised as Best Vets in London for the fifth year running, Best Vets in Kent for the fourth year running, and ranked as the third best vets in the UK.

Charity and community remained at the heart of DNA Vetcare, continuing our support of WVS and Jai Dogs. Our founder, Dane, was invited to Thailand for the opening of a new WVS hospital and the dedication of a ward in recognition of his efforts.

We loved meeting so many of you at the London Vet Show.

We rounded off 2025 with our annual Awards & Christmas Party, celebrating the achievements of our brilliant teams 💚

As we close 2025, we do so with gratitude to our veterinary teams. With these strong foundations, we look forward to more innovation and achievement in 2026.

Happy New Year! 🎉

If you want, I can also make a super punchy version optimized for social media, where almost every sentence hits as a highlight. Do you want me to do that?

🎉 A huge congratulations to Aida, who has recently passed her RCVS exams and is now fully qualified to practise as a vet in the UK! 🇬🇧

Originally a veterinary surgeon in Iran, Aida has been a valued member of the Streatham Hill Vets team for the past three years, working as a VCA while preparing for her UK qualifications.

Her dedication and passion for animal care have truly inspired us, and we’re incredibly proud to now support her as she begins the next step in her journey, this time, as a vet! 🩺✨

At DNA Vetcare, we’re committed to nurturing talent and helping our team members grow.💚

🛺 Racing Tuk Tuks for a World Without Rabies!

Last weekend, DNA Vetcare took part in the Rabies Rally 2025 in Cornwall. We did three days of tuk tuk racing, learning, and raising awareness for Mission Rabies and Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS). There were all sorts of fun surprises along the way including a ‘most interesting selfie’ challenge!

Our teams were made up of some of our brilliant vets, nurses, and team members:

🏆🥇Team 1: Lucy (Mead Manager), Will (vet at Streatham Hill), and Ewen (vet at Swaleside)

Team 2: Radu (vet at Mead), Shan (admin team), and Dane (Clinical Director)

This is our 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗥𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗻! The rally isn’t just about fun, it helps fund life-saving vaccination and education programmes to protect people and animals from rabies.

A huge thank you to WVS and Mission Rabies and well done to our amazing teams and everyone who participated!

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗪𝗲'𝘃𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗱 🐾

DNA Vetcare has proudly supported Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS) and Mission Rabies since 2011 and it’s only thanks to our amazing clients and team across all our clinics that we’ve been able to do so.

Over the years, you’ve helped us raise over £20,000 through: Sponsored swims In-practice raffles and events And most recently, by donating 50p from every vaccine and consultation

This funding helps support their life-saving work across the globe, from mass canine vaccination campaigns to educating children and communities and training local vets.

In the last year alone, we’ve sent team members from DNA Vetcare clinics to Thailand, India and Cambodia to assist on the frontlines.

Anisa has absolutely smashed it!🥰

Did you catch us in the press? Our Clinical Director, Dane Walker, has been featured in not one, but two Newsweek articles and The Times, offering trusted advice on key pet health topics and the future of veterinary care 📰

🍫 In one article, Dane responded to a viral TikTok where a Great Dane accidentally ate “special” chocolate (a dangerous situation for dogs). Dane explained why chocolate toxicity is so serious and why acting quickly matters.

☀️ In another, Dane gave expert advice on how to keep cats cool in hot weather, after a video of a fan-cooled feline gained attention on social media. Dane shared practical tips for protecting cats and keeping them cool during heatwaves.

💷 Most recently, Dane was featured in The Times, speaking on the rising costs of vet care and why maintaining independent veterinary practices is so important. His insight supports the ongoing CMA inquiry and reinforces our commitment to professional, transparent care.

👏 We’re always proud to see our team’s expertise recognised in the media. If you’ve got questions about your pet’s health or how to keep them safe in any season – our team is here to help.
