Blackheath Standard, Wednesdays, 10.30am–12 noon.
Bolsters, blankets, and long, restful holds. This is an opportunity to slow down and spend time with yourself. Suitable for beginners with limited fitness and flexibility as well as experienced yogis. People of all ages are welcome. It's fine to drop in on the off-chance, but this is a small studio and the class does sometimes sell out, so booking is recommended to be sure of a place.

NEW MYSORE PRACTICE IN WOOLWICH SE18
From January, Greenwich + Woolwich Mysore will be running a Sunday morning Mysore practice, 8–10am, at The Yoga Space on the Royal Arsenal. This is an adaptive approach to ashtanga. We incorporate diverse props and tools to enable a wide range of people to access the ashtanga series. Beginners and people with injuries are very welcome, as are experienced practitioners.

WELL WOMAN YOGA

is offered for the benefit of women with special requirements that cannot be met fully in general classes. The benefits are inseparably physiological & psychological. Discomforts that are not serious enough to warrant medical treatment may compromise women’s quality of life. These can be effectively addressed with yoga therapy, optimising pelvic tone & wellbeing. Yoga also helps women access a space of deep relaxation in which the psychological or mental roots of current conditions may be identified & addressed.

Well Woman Yoga empowers women to actively take charge of their wellbeing with body & mind-based therapeutic tools that are simple & effective. It includes the teaching of specific restorative poses & flow practices, together with specially designed therapeutic micro-movements to benefit the neuro-endocrine & reproductive systems.
