To Book a FREE Consultation use this link - www.calendly.com/macsclinic/free-video-consultation Intense pressure is put on both men and women to maintain a youthful (and hence desirable) look. Traditionally cosmetic surgery has been used to treat the body or face to achieve this goal, but to ignore the spirit and the mind. Here at Vadodaria Plastic Surgery we have a very different approach to this philosophy. We believe that a holistic approach to any cosmetic, reconstructive or plastic surgery is the way forward in the landscape of the 21st Century. Perhaps it’s a more enlightened approach that most people would expect from a top Harley Street cosmetic surgery practice, but one which we are very proud to have and which set us apart from all others. It is a wellness approach that addresses the mind, body and spirit of an individual and that takes into consideration the emotional, physical and spiritual essence of every unique being. A holistic approach means we don’t just assess the body or face and promote surgical procedures based purely on this assessment. The body, mind and spirit are not independent of one another, but fully intertwined. At Vadodaria Plastic Surgery you will find a variety of healthcare strategies alongside the surgical procedures, which are intended to enlighten and empower you. We focus on nutrition and diet, changes in lifestyle, psychological health and living as optimally and completely as possible whilst at the same time pursuing surgical options that will help you achieve your goals.

Contact Lenses and Blepharoplasty: When Can You Wear Contact Lenses After Eyelid Surgery?

If you wear contact lenses and are considering eyelid surgery, you may wonder when it is safe to use them again after the procedure. Following blepharoplasty, the eyelids need time to heal and any unnecessary pressure or irritation around the eyes should be avoided. Most surgeons recommend avoiding contact lenses for at least 1–2 weeks after surgery, and sometimes longer depending on swelling and healing progress.

During the early recovery period, wearing glasses is usually advised to prevent irritation and allow the eyelids to heal properly. Your surgeon will guide you on the safest time to resume contact lens use based on your recovery.

πŸ“’ Botox and Upper Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty): Does the Timing Matter?

Many patients considering upper eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) often ask whether Botox injections should be done before or after surgery. Understanding the timing of these treatments is important for achieving the best aesthetic results.

Botox works by relaxing facial muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles, while blepharoplasty removes excess skin and improves the contour of the upper eyelids. When carefully planned, both treatments can complement each other and enhance overall facial aesthetics.

πŸ“’ When Should You Avoid Contact Lenses During Blepharoplasty?

If you are planning upper or lower eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), it is important to know when contact lenses should be avoided to protect the delicate tissues around the eyes and support proper healing.

Patients are usually advised to stop wearing contact lenses before the procedure and avoid them for a period after surgery until the eyelids have healed adequately. During the recovery phase, the eyelids may be swollen and sensitive, and wearing lenses too early can cause irritation, discomfort, or delay healing.

At MACS Clinic, we provide clear pre-operative and post-operative guidance to ensure a safe recovery and the best possible outcome from eyelid surgery.

Puffy ni***es in men are a common concern and may be caused by glandular gynecomastia, hormonal factors, or excess fatty tissue. Understanding the underlying cause is essential in determining the most effective treatment.

In our latest blog, we discuss how careful clinical assessment helps identify whether the issue is primarily glandular or fatty, and how targeted treatment can help restore a flatter, more natural chest contour. πŸ“’ New Blog | Botox and Upper Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty): Does the Timing Matter?

When considering Botox treatment alongside upper eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), many patients ask whether the timing of Botox injections affects the surgical outcome.

In our latest blog, we discuss how Botox and blepharoplasty can complement each other, the ideal timing for treatments, and important considerations to achieve the best aesthetic results. Botox targets dynamic wrinkles caused by muscle activity, while blepharoplasty removes excess eyelid skin to improve both appearance and sometimes vision.

Understanding the relationship between these treatments helps patients and surgeons plan procedures safely and effectively.
