Our residents had a wonderful time during this week’s Art Class with Elaine! Using warm autumn colours, everyone created beautiful leaf-shaped paintings while chatting and enjoying tea, coffee, and lovely snacks. ☕🍰

It was a lovely morning of creativity, smiles, and plenty of laughter, a perfect touch for a cosy autumn season 🍂💛

We had a wonderful evening celebrating Guy Fawkes Night with a dazzling firework display, thanks to our amazing Maintenance Lead, Brian! 🤩
He put on a fantastic show that lit up the sky and brought smiles to everyone’s faces. Residents gathered together to watch the colourful fireworks burst and sparkle above, creating a joyful and memorable atmosphere. 🎇 🤗

Of course, we didn’t forget about our amazing team members! 🎃💜 We had a fun pumpkin-carving session together and shared some spooky cupcakes to show our gratitude for all their hard work and dedication. 👻🧁

Our home has been beautifully decorated for Halloween, once again led by our Wellbeing Facilitator Ruvinie, who brought great creativity and enthusiasm to the project. Together with our residents, we carved pumpkins and added them to the decorations, filling the home with a wonderful festive atmosphere. The residents really enjoyed taking part in the pumpkin carving, sharing laughter and fun along the way.

We were also delighted to be joined by the children from Barnet Hospital Nursery, who brought extra joy and excitement to the activity.

Now our home looks bright, spooky, and cheerful, perfectly ready to celebrate Halloween! 🎃

💗 Breast Cancer Awareness Day 💗
We came together to celebrate with music, love, and laughter. One of our residents’ talented sons filled the room with beautiful songs and guitar melodies, creating such a special atmosphere. Surrounded by our lovely residents, family members, delicious treats, and unforgettable moments, it was truly a day to remember. A reminder of the strength, hope, and unity that inspire the fight against breast cancer. 🩷 🎶

Every milestone is special at Carlton Court, but celebrating Stanley’s 100th birthday was truly a moment to treasure. 🤩 With a century of experiences and stories to share, Stanley continues to inspire us all with his kindness and spirit. It was a day filled with laughter, love, and celebration as residents, their families and team members gathered to honour this incredible achievement.

We’re so proud to have shared such a joyful occasion with Stanley. 💚 Here’s to 100 wonderful years and many more happy memories ahead! 🥳💯
