Adele Brydges

Adele Brydges Intimate objects and experiences for discerning pleasure seekers My passion for pleasure and porcelain has lead me on a wild, wonderful and unconventional path.

I studied a BA Hons in Ceramic Design but little did I know back then that my fascination with clay and sensuality would be start a long term love affair… After graduating in 2006 I began creating pleasure tools that celebrate sex, sensuality and connection and aim to challenge the way that we view masturbation, pleasure and sex toys. I founded my workshops in 2017 to enable others to bring creativity, craft and a sense of fun to their pleasure practices with personalised porcelain pleasure tools; our capacity for pleasure expands when we combine it with intention, connection and our own creative juice! My workhops and pieces have been featured in Crafts Magazine, Marie Claire, Wall Paper, Grazia, Mashable and TimeOut and collaborations include Coco de Mer, Studio Sexus, Chakrubs, Noyau, Jay Rose Tattoo, Servadio and Brunello.

I hate goodbyes and this isn’t one entirely. It’s more of a see you later, in my next iteration 🐦‍🔥🐍

Thank you so much to everyone who has followed, supported, shared, loved (and made lobe) with my work.

I’ll share more later on the reasons why this chapter has come to a close. For now, you can find my last remaining pieces online at final sale prices and join me at my final farewell d***o decorating workshop on the 17th January (links in bio).

Massive love to all of you xx

Any UK orders looking for Christmas delivery - please place them before midday on Friday 19th December.

Embodied Connection ✨
This Saturday, 1:30pm at the Barbican as part of Dirty Weekend. Free but limited, first come, first served. I’ll be in the Curve space on the Ground Floor with my brilliant assistant .

A little workshop. A little play. Touch, texture, movement. Nothing fancy, no rule, just noticing what feels good.

Come curious. Come open. Come away grounded, present, and more in tune with your own pleasure 💫

DM me for more details.

In love with the simplicity and devotion of burnishing clay with terra sigillata and a small smooth stone. This is an ancient practice that seals the surface and brings out a beautiful, lustrous sheen.

Thanks for capturing these process bts .duckworth

A letter from my 10 year old self finding me 33 years later. I really needed the reminder this week that I am living my dream life ✌🏼💫🏺🎨 The letter reads:

Dear F.r. Christmas

Before you read this letter I know you won’t be able to get some of these presents.

Clay = for potery

and if you definetly definetly can’t get that some paints (((proper paints))) will do.

and if you can could you please get me some clothes.

You don’t *have* to get me any of these ok.

Lots and lots of love

Excited to be showing new work in Sincerely later this week!

📬 Opening this week: Sincerely, our Summer Group Show, 20 artists, 2 exhibitions, 6 weeks of new work you won’t want to miss.

Sincerely, is a letter incomplete. The dialogue of this exhibition unfolds without a script, written instead in real time, between the works, during a transient moment of togetherness.

This is an exhibition where private process becomes public, after a year in the studios, the artists share what they’ve been building, breaking, questioning, and remaking. Expect sculpture, sound, moving image, performance, textiles and more.

📅 First Views: 31 July & 19 August, 6–8PM
🎭 Performances: 7 & 28 August
📍 Sarabande, N1 5SH

Sincerely, is not an ending, but a letter still being written. A conversation still unfolding. Book now via the link in our bio 🔗

A Thousand Different Women, 2025
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Drawing on my Irish heritage and the archetype of the Sheela na-gig, A Thousand Different Women honours the multiplicity of the female experience and reclaims the void as a site of wild, unapologetic feminine power. Fired with menstrual blood, hair, nails, and gathered organic matter, it speaks to shadow, strength, transformation, and the sacredness of taboo.
🌀 A threshold. A portal. A becoming.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Stoneware ceramic, terra sigilatta, barrel fired saggar.

Delighted to be showing this piece for the first time summer group show, Sincerely, later this Thursday. RSVP via my bio link. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
