1️⃣ They are a medical professional with an extensive background in medical anatomy and treatment.
2️⃣ This therefore means we are accountable for our actions and can be held liable by the NMC/GMC/GDC should something go wrong.
3️⃣ We have extensive knowledge and training to enable us to perform injectable treatments and non surgical procedures. Those with a Level 7 Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine have the highest qualification.
4️⃣ I pride myself on being a thoroughly ethical practitioner and therefore if it is not within your best interests to treat…I won’t! This is so important!
5️⃣ Most importantly…..SAFETY, we can manage complications should these arise and prescribe any medications to manage this, should this situation arise. This can happen to the best of practitioners out there but it is how you manage it when it happens.
